Big problems with him today. I was praying all week that Lenny didnt start Loovens but you know what, I wish he had! Seem'd like Rogne could do nothing right today.

For a bigger guy that Jelavic is a diving *, he's actually nearly on par with that wee * Naismith. Rogne looked lost without Majstorovic, if we had four Mark Wilson's on the park the day then defence wouldn't have been a problem - but we have to make do with what we have. Rogne needs a bit of time to gel again into his position, must be a nervous feeling to be thrusted into a final against our biggest rivals after coming back from injury.

He was bad today, but tbh everytime Jelavic got tackled he threw himself to the ground and everytime he got a free kick :31:

I thought Rogne was rotten today. Jelavic has good/fast feet. But theres not a chance he should be beating someone of Rognes Height to the header EVERYtime...* joke man, Big glenda came on and didnt do much wrong in my eyes. I know hes * too, but its a bad day when Glendas makin you look bad!!

will provale bad day today but bringing a sub ch on late in the game was poor, to get up to speed is hard enough but loovens couldnt have expected to get on.waste of a sub, should have got stok and paddy on in 60min.

Rogne played like a big Jessie today and was as slow as a week in jail. Lennon crapped it by not playing Loovens, and we paid the price.

Rogne looked like he was lacking match fitness. Mulgrew and himself in the centre is an unfamiliar partnership which wouldn't help. Think we really missed Majstorovic's leadership.

Mcmoist and myth defo sent on his players to hit the deck when our defenders went near them mulgrew and rogne must have been shitin it to tackle the diven *.
Perhaps what this does show is how effective big dans influence was, he has made jellyfish look very poor in the last couple against them, we normally have 1 solid defender (dan) and 1 slightly faster, less expierenced player (rogne, mulgrew) just a pity we had the 2 rookies on, mulgrew not a rookie in age but expierence. But the boy rogne still young lets give him a chance. Not need to think hes the new loovens just yet.

You know what dr.v you were completely right, loovens should have started for me instead of rogne, tbh apart from slack with weiss free kick, loovens was able to handle jelavic simply by being stronger and quicker than him.

Mulgrew didn't look good today because of rogne, he was constantly covering his * and the quicker maj is back the better.

Thanks mate. I just had a gut feeling that Loovens should have started
and events have proved me right. Rogne and Mulgrew together are too soft.
It was Lenny's first mistake. His second was not playing our goal machine Anthony Stokes.

I wish I was the fucken Celtic manager :31:

    Spot on here.

He was just back from injury, lacking in match fitness and sharpness as you said. Add that to the fact he was thrown into a partnership with a full-back who is playing in the centre of our defence.

Majstorovic has been key for us at the back, we're definitely going to miss him. Majstorovic helped guide Rogne through games and you need that when you're a young central defender. His experience also helped Mulgrew get through games (who is again, out of position).

I hate to bring this up but it was very very clear in January that we needed to bring in a central defender and we left it until the last few weeks to show any real interest. We paid for that today.

    Thomas Rogne.

only me who thinks this guys utter gash?

cant tackle, cant pass, cant head that well, slow, makes daft mistakes, dives in, young or not, this guy is not celtic class.

we badly need a quality CB or two imo.

He's had one good game that really sticks out in my mind and that was at Ibrox in January. Your post seems to be a bit harsh on him. He is just your average SPL standard defender. I know he most likely wouldn't be able to cut it in Europe, but for our league, he is alright.

Bearing in mind he is only 19/20ish, he will improve with time. Majstorovic is our best centre back right now, in my opinion and we also have Kelvin Wilson coming in the summer. I still think we will need one more experienced CB after that though, if we want to launch a serious assault on Europe next season.

just not a fan of the guy mate, its unfortunate we dont have reserve football or a competitive place for him to work on his ability, maybe a loan spell would help.

I would like to see him here for a long time.Looks no nonsense. Had a bit of a mare in the League Cup final , but wasnt fit.

Great cover, and potential starter for the future. Think your a bit hard on him Declan. Compared to Glenda he is Franco Baresi.
