Please anybody who is intrested in english football write the list of the most intresting english clashes in your opinion
My suggestion top 7
1. Liver -MU
2. Arsenal -Tottenham
3. Liver Everton
4. MU -M City
5. Sheffield Wed -Sheffield U
6. Villa - Birmingham City
7. Fulham -Tottenham -nowadays
I could add Arsenal- MU but am not sure if it is regarded as a derby

 

Burnley / Blackburn. I know they are not from the same city/town, but are close by and hate each other.

 

I thought in the UK the toughest clash between fans exists in Sheffield but intresting information

Sunderland vs Newcastle

ha you don't know the rules of the english fans Liver- MU is regarded as derby between cities due to the history but i mentioned Fulham Tottenham due to their latest game and they represent the same city as well
you could say that you don't regard as derbies the matches vs Partick Thitsle and Queens Park

 

Tyne Wear Derby , watch one if you get the chance.

 

Believe it or not Leeds and Huddersfield can get fiesty!

Depends because derbies are normally games betwen teams from the same city - West Ham - Millwall.

Grudge matches , say Birmingham v West Ham or man utd v Arsenal

But then Tyne wear derby is classed as a derby despite it involving 2 cities, interesting....

 

actually the most derbies between london teams are interesting for their fans only due to the fact they are too small and there are over 60 clubs in London there is the vast choise that's why on my opinion english derbies between the same cities or not the same apart from London have became more interesting nowadays such as nottingham teams both have good chances to get promotion

 

ive spoke to alot of different fans as i work in a hotel in glasgow but never heard anybody talk about each other the way celtic & rangers do except sunderland & newcastle fans.

 

such as in Glasgow only 5 clubs and only 1 big derby maybe capital derby too plus Dundee's derby and small derby Falkirk - East stirling but this derby is hardly able to bring together many people

What about Forest and Derby. I remember when that was huge, and from what I understand it still is to those players. I love Forest for some reason. Hope they make it back to the Premiership next year.
