What are the views on Kamara?

We are a support who likes to judge players on one game So what are people's views on this lad from lastnight? Seems a good player to me quite similar to Fortune in some aspects.

 

Started off well but drifted away.

Won't be able to see him properly until he's actually deployed upfront instead of left-midfield.

Another player out of position but looked so so at the start but i would prefer to see him up front .

 

He might have a better scoring rate but still from what iv seen is pretty similar. Someone who has seen more of him could give a better view on it.

 

No bad,mine has a 5x zoom lens.

 

Not going to judge him until he is played in his proper position.

 

Out of interest, had TM really thought that it was possible that Keane was to be able to be secured on load that Kamara would not have been signed.

Listening to 5 Live earlier, and it was revealed that Fulham's Andy Johnson is to be sidelined for much longer, indeed, possible out for the season. As such, if Fulham were to decide to recall him, I'm not overly concerned, as we now have 5 strikers on our books.

 

Reminds me too much of McGeady, which isn't a good thing.

 

Can't judge him after 1 match.

Yeah, as said above, can't judge the guy on one match where he was being played out of position. Why was he played out wide anyway? Surely there must have been someonelse more suited to playing there.

 

Although Kamara would be an easier/cheaper purchase this summer (if he does well) than Keane.

As far as what I think about him. He had a pretty decent year in the CC Championship in 06-07. Although, he was prob playing up front, with Kevin phillips.....

 

I think he's disposable

 

He showed flashes of brilliance.

 

teams cant recall players on loan to another team in another country thats why we didn't get curtis davies on loan from aston villa

 

Hope he can capture the form he was developing a few seasons back.

 

I'd have preferred it if Mowbray had also saved judgement on him and let him and keane have a few training sessions with the team before starting them both against killie, but what i've seen of him in england should do allright at celtic

No sure- but I expect him to score 1 game in three! So hoping for better and I am wrong!

 

i thought he did ok. drifted in and out and although he doesnt seem to have much pace, i reckon he can dribble towards defence quite well. left mid defo aint his position.

he does like a high short waistline lol.
