I personally think we cant afford to lose him as he is our only poacher, if we let him leave wed have no chance of winning the leauge.

PS: Be good to look back on this thread if he does leave

 

only sell him if the money is good and we have a player of similer or better quality.

What is going on surely we canny let skippy go,Press conference must make Skippy sick,Only scorer weve got left.

 

He's already away in my eyes , He went up against the gaffer and you never win that battle , Good player and done fantastic for us in his 1st season but since he got his new contract he has gotten lazy and put on the weight , Sammy is just as good his strike rate is right up there.

 

Until someone can prove themselves, his goals remain invaluable. Skippy must stay.

i think mcdonald has been great for celtic but ,at £4mill imho he could be replaced with better. even if your replacing him with someone unproven, i trust moggas judgement and would take the gamble.

very true hes quality in europe also, scores in the big games unlike some, gets big goals at vital times, he also misses some sitters like any other striker

i'd rather sell Samaras and keep McDonald, i feel much more confident if Skippy is through 1 on 1 with a keeper than i do with Samaras. Just look at the previous OF game, Skippy came on 1st chance and scored. But on the other hand if Rasmussen turns out to be the goal scorer people are saying he is. Then if he does get sold then their shouldnt be a problem.

 

I agree what good is it selling any players? Sell them in the summer so we would have settled guys still playing and bringing in new players and letting them settle gradually, Buy in Jan sell him summer we didnt neeed to sell just now anyway

Does anybody think we should use the money to try and get Stokes in? Lad's got an amazing record in Scotland. Of course, this is hypothetical, but I'm not 100% confident Skippy will stay after Mogga's vague answer at the press conference today.

 

if macdonald goes, i want a proven internationalist who has played regularly in europe. For 3.5 mil you could get a good proven player. Na not stokes.
