Two talents from Lech Poznan rumored to be heading for Celtic, one labeled Stilic can be ready on Sunday if all goes way.

For a year now Celtic have been chasing Bosnia Semir Stilic, and reportedly, representatives from Celtic to speak to Stilic on Sunday. A business which is expected to be completed. 22 year old has been in recent days expressed their desire to play for such a big club Celtic.

According to rumors is also Celtic got their eyes on Stilic Polish teammate, Robert Lewandowski. Lewandowski is only 20 years and is described as a great talent, he is a striker and has made appearances for the Polish national team. For example, he made a drömmål in a vänskapssmatch against Ireland.

How much Celtic would have to pay is still unclear but it is rumored that Stilic will cost between 1.3 and 2 million pounds, while Robert would cost about as much. On transfermakt.de valued the same amount, ie 3 million Euro. A page which, while questionable, but it gives a hint that the players can cost about the same.

Mowbray has shown interest in recruiting a striker, and that it expected the deal with Tours of Olivier Giroud seems overtaken the grief it is said that he turned the other way, where Lewandowski can be a hot alternative.

On Sunday, the Stilic become clear, and the question is whether his team mate Robert Lewandowski come with him to Glasgow?

i think its more wishful thinking to be honest, it started of in the polish press because we were in for stilic and they'll have thought, " surely they'll have enquired about lewandowski aswell?" and its lead fro there.

although i would love this it is very doubtful imo

I talked to a polish guy, and he sad that he would prefer him in Celtic with Boruc and all but that several big clubs have shown interest. He sad that the polish media calls him "the new Van Basten"

 

I think the thought of joining a big club who are maybe not in a very big leauge would be a nice one for Lewandowski , joining the EPL now could be too quick for him , playing for us he would get European football and a chance to prove himself somewhere he is less likley to be out of his depth! Also Stilic his team mate possibly joining and Boruc and Zaluska alreeady here could make us very attractive!

If we got Lewandowski it would be our biggest signing since Petrov, but we did get Ki who is highly regarded, so here's hoping.

 

Hope we get them both i think stilic would replace robson and lewandowski would score plenty

Lewandowski is leavin in the Summer not now according to the more reliable source Sky Sports. But who knows they might both be coming over to sign a deal on now and one in the summer? Wishful thinking on my part! Haha

 

I think its wishful thinking on everybodys part Lewandowski would be ideal for all his football potential and quality but ALSO would be 1 player who would fill the under-21 rule So badly want this to happen. Lech did say that Silic will be the only main player that will leave.

 

You never know mate maybe we will sign him and loan him straight back. As Mowbray says he has a five year plan to get us the way he wants us.

 

Not read all the replies but just to add, I read earlier on CQN from a poster who copied a peice from a I believe Bosnian newspaper and it was reported that Stilic was in Glasgow along with the director or Lech Poznan. Also reported that a deal had been concluded already. Stilic has been speaking to his family and they were all agreed on a move to us being the best for him. It was certainly all positive but until I see a picture of him in the hoops standing beside TM I'll wait before getting too excited.:bbpd:
