If you were non religious and you seen a ghost would it make you a believer? If you were religious what would it mean to you?

I'm a practicing Catholic, and I saw a ghost a few years ago.
Freaked me out a bit. None of my family believe me :(

So what does that mean to you in terms of religion?

No, I would get my eyes tested, or attribute such an apparition to an LSD flashback. Ghosts do not exist.

    Happened to me.
Didn't make me a believer though.

Still don't know what to make of it tbh.:97:

I don't think anything or anyone could make me religious tbh.

    Agree.

Ghosts have nothing to do with Religion. No one can prove or disprove their existence, same as the basis of all religion

I've ditched religion altogether and even if I saw a ghost, I doubt I'd go back.
It would make me believe in an afterlife, though. I don't need to belong to any religion to believe that.

spot on :50: i hate it how all religions lay claim to knowing and explaining everything. i was born and raised a Catholic, and a fairly partisan one at that but i started the long slide to Atheitism at primary school and its never stopped since!

as for ghosts, cant say ive ever seen one but if i did i wouldnt go running back to the church...unless the ghost convinced me that if i didnt i'd die the next day :56:

I'm religious (Baptist) and we're taught that once you go, you stay wherever you've gone. One theory is apparitions are imprints of events in time, or from parallel universes briefly intersecting.

Although mildly connected to the current subject, that theory is now an accepted reality. So could be some logic in what the rest of your paragraph says.

As many have said in this thread, religion doesn't have anything to do with believing in ghosts. And ghosts don't exist.

I don't believe in ghosts or religion but if I seen a ghost it would change my whole outlook on religion as it would prove there is life after this one(?)

Scary ghosts are always weans, imagine a 9 year old, only an immortal 9 year old that wants to always be with you and murder you and slam doors in your house and whisper mean things to you.

Keep an eye on her, does she hang around stairs? For some unknown reason, ghosts tend to be captured on film going up and down stairs a lot. This is perplexing because: a) they have no legs, and b) they can teleport, so why would they waste their time walking up stairs. Even if you had all eternity, wouldn't it be better to just fly?

Well I'm very religious & I have had a very intimate 3 month relationship with a goat.

EDIT: Just noticed it was about ghosts, disregard.
