His wages would be above what Caldwell wants prob - just from the fact he's coming from the most financially overflated league in the world & that he has an international pedigree.

I'd like to get him, don't get me wrong - but not if he's going to * with the wage structure.

Knowing Lawell makes me think this is paper talk, or Ganst throwing in Celtic's name to create interest in his current contract status.

 

I don't think I'd want him to be honest. I can't remember him doing much recently, and the memory of one of the worst dives i've ever seen against Arsenal just annoys me about him.

This guy has more to his all round game than naka? Plus he can hit a free-kick and has excelent shooting technique. A 28 year old player who should be playing in the premier league for £1 million. I'd take that in a second :icon_mrgreen: Dont see why people are sceptical about this guy. I could see it if he was 32 or something but we could get 3-4 good years out this guy

i don't like him much sometimes he looks good and sometimes you forget he even played but he definetly has a cracking left foot like naka

 

Definitely a quality player, but it's not exactly a position where we are in need.

I hope we're not going to see the same as we got under GS - signing endless attacking midfielders when we have gaping flaws in defence.

As for pederson, i would luv to see him at the club. Good experience and a quality player.

I did read that spurs could be interested though which would see us blown out the water.

 

pederson is a brilliant player would love to see him in the team espically in the champ league next year after we win the league this year

 

Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce has played down speculation linking Morten Gamst Pedersen with Celtic and is hoping to keep his top stars at Ewood Park.
Reports over the weekend suggested Celtic were lining up a move for Norwegian international Pedersen after he dropped down the pecking order in Allardyce's plans.
Pedersen refused to rule out a move to Celtic, but Allardyce insists nobody has contacted him about any of his players with the transfer window due to reopen in just over two weeks.
"I've had no enquiries for my players at this moment," said Allardyce.
"Someone has whispered in my ear about the first bit of speculation, that Morten is going to Celtic.
"We're going to get the normal chip paper flying around in the next few weeks."
Pedersen's current contract at Blackburn expires at the end of the season and Allardyce admits he is in no rush to sit down and hold talks over a new deal.
"We're not in a contract sort of mood at the moment - I'm certainly not," added Allardyce

I've loved this player since the day i found him on Champ man 03-04, i know that sounds ridiculous but after i found him on that i followed him in real life too, class act - would tear out league apart.
