Firstly its good to hear his views on the N'Guemo deal, I really hope we sign him as he looks to be a cracking wee player.

As far as the loan deals are concerned, if we can ship a few players (Caldwell, Robson, McManus, & Wilson) we would free up some cash for the Giroud deal and a centre half . A few loan deals on top of this (Suarez & Utaka) would be perfect and would create a very strong squad for us in terms of depth and quality.

I would rather see us buy players or if we do loan players then they are load deals such as N' Guemo's where we have the option of buying.

I think everyone would prefer that we bought players, however the January window is never really that productive in terms of transfers unless its a player who's contract is almost up. Loan deals for players who have fallen out of favour or are pushing for a big move is a sensible option otherwise we could be paying over the odds.

    Agree.

I think we should be good enough to only purchase players with a future in club, than reach more than a six month loan deal. Bellamy was a cracking player for Celtic, and I'm sure than Jeffren Suarez could be too. But there isn't much future in that kind of deals, so I would prefer loan deals as the N'Guémo one, with players working for a permanent deal.

And that would make it easier to gamble with unknown foreigner players if you know they wouldn't be here forever if the deal not turns out any good.

  6. I also agree, but if we could get in a quality CB on loan who is well out of our price range to buy for 6 months, it would help sort out our defence & allow us more time to find a player to do the job within our means.

It also brings in more interest from fans, for instance I have never looked for Swindon scores or their forums before, but now with a few Celtic loanees I do.

im sure the poard would have already sorted this but the board need agreement in place if loanees really impress so we can keep them for pre arranged fee

If a loan deal can help us secure the title, CL football next year then I'm all for it. Then we could use the money form CL, the title etc to bring in our own players.

when TM was in charge of west brom he seemed to like loaning a player for 6/12 months with a option to buy, gives him a chance to look at the player and to see if he would settle before spending millions , i think he done it with meseguez, fortune and a couple of others and hes done it with nguemo, personally i think its the way forward and would welcome a couple of loan players and itf it doesnt work out we can just send them back
