just thought i would start this early!

no excuses and nothing else but a win against this mob next week! they are a pub team and nothing more! and even that we are playing gash! we should be beating them and looking to win the last game and go through to the next stage? after all i think they owe us a good performance.

are they not already through? they sure have had a couple good results and ironically that first half v tel aviv was pretty good for us....that second half though is the single worse half i'd seen since artmedia!

i agree, we need to build momentum even if we are more or less out and with three home games coming up it could be great to get 3 wins just to boost confidence for the rest of the season! i'll see how it goes v st mirren before i make any predictions!

I'd hardly class them as a pub team, they have had some great results in Europe this season and have done really well, far better than we have. Just because they're not a big European ''name'' doesn't make them a pub team, you're just tempting fate with comments like that. Leave the arrogance to the English fans.

right enough they can still go out if they lose both their games; we obviously need to win both ours and hamburg lose both theirs; vienna are in hamburg and need to win to keep THEIR chances alive so i guess its not impossible; if we beat tel aviv though tel aviv just need a point though if they beat hamburg then it would set up a crunch grudge match in vienna! heres hoping it gets that far!

So lets get this right... We need to beat Tel Aviv, and Vienna to beat Hamburg next week. The we need to beat Vienna and Tel Aviv to beat Hamburg to go through?

By my calculations that would leave the group
    H.T.A......12
    Celtic......8
    Hamburg..7
    R.V.........7

I have to admit that I don't fancy our chances of qualifying, tbh I'm not partiucarly interested either.

We need to concenttrate on being able to defeat Falkirk, Hearts & DUFC before we can give consideration to European opposition.

I hope we win the last 2 games though...long shot though.

Strange thing is that we've actually played ok in Europe, considering other games have been 3-0 etc... we've not been run over like the others in the group & have shown some good stuff...& some bad.

    I'll go for 1-1.

Ye I agree, don't fancy us qualifying at all! And your right, we have actually played ok but the same problem from last season continues....we can't score in big games!!

We are out. I hate to be negative here but its practically impossible. I doubt we will beat rapid away and the way our home form is at the moment i wouldn't put my money on that game either. It would be a miracle if we got through.

the hamburg game away was by far our best game in Europe this year,we should have won but to say we will qualify from this group and depend on other results going our way is very optimistic.
i for one think that our euro dream will be over for another year and we can consentrate on the spl first and foremost, the huns will have 100% focus on the spl now due to being knocked out last night

also playing thursdays is rubbish jet lagg and tired players come the following sunday
the next 2 games should all be about getting the balance right and let the young inns
get a peice of european action

i will go for a win here 3 1 if our strikers borrow a pair of King Henricks boots

Looking at the table am sure there fans will be calling us the pub team.

Does not really matter, be nice to win of course but Hamburg will get at least 1 point from there last 2 games.
