Saw it yesterday. It's very dramatic and has great effects. I'm expecting some people to be paranoid after seeing it but remember, it's just a movie! :icon_mrgreen:

Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming is mentioned and it really does have the potential to erupt as a super volcano. Last time it erupted was 640,000 years ago and if it were to actually erupt, the climate of the entire planet would be effected.

There's a scene in the movie where the plane one of the characters is flying escapes a derbis cloud of molten ash and the look of the plane is unchanged. If that were to really happen, the plane would fall out of the sky and crash. It's actually a very unrealistic movie in many aspects.

Saw it last night, i was a bit unsure about going after some of the reviews, but i reckon anyone who reviews this badly is taking it far to seriously, it was a few hours of absolutely ridiculous, absurd fun, it does what is says on the tin, i liked it, you go to see the effects....end of story!:50:

Exactly. The plane that escapes the ash cloud would have crashed to the ground in a real situation like that and the big plane escaping LA would have stalled and crashed into a building.
