Heartbreaking to hear a fine Celtic player and prospect in his time at cp just a pity it has ended so early.

I'm really gutted for the lad. Ionel Ganea should be made to pay a huge compensation to JFK for that vicious assault on him.
The tackle made me sick at the time and it still makes me sick when I think of it now.

 

Gutted for the Bhoy....what makes it worse is that he was one of our own.

I'll never forgive that wee * Colin Cameran for saying te guy didnt mean it. That was a fuking outageous statement - anyone remember?

 

Terrible news, I'd really thought he'd come back when he went to Norwich on loan.
Won't forget that horrid tackle, Ganea should pay up big time.

 

Sad, would have went on to be a great centre back for Celtic and Scotland, just what we're needing right now. I thought things we're getting better for him when he went out on loan and perhaps he would have came back into the game with the form that he had shown us before, gutted.

 

This is pretty disappointing and terrible. I can only imagine how he feels, must be devastated. He was an excellent prospect, too bad that Ganea * injured him, he should be in jail for that.

I only hope things work out for him in the future, wish him all the best. Hopefully someday we see him back as staff member. I'm sure Celtic will take care for him.

 

It's a real shame for the lad.

 

A very sad day for young John and all connected to Celtic FC, he showed against the likes of Barcelona that he possess the skill and determination to be at the top level, so cruel to be deprived of a great career in the game.

I hope Celtic's legal eagles can advise this young man on the best course of action to recover substanial damages from the Romanian player and the SFA for the lost of career earnings.

It doesn't make up for the lost of playing for Celtic, hopefully it can make life easier for him to accept a career as something other than a footballer.

 

I've just realised he has been with us for 10 years, i think Celtic will end up arranging a Testimonial, even though he wasn't playing with us in the team for 10 years he would have played alot if it weren't for that injury.

Even if he didn't play in the game itself it would be a good gesture from the club...

I agree the boy tried his hardest to get through the injury and it just wasnt to be, i really feel for the boy cause he looked like he was going to be a fine player for us and its a real loss

 

10years and only 45 appearances thats bad luck i really feel sorry for him

 

wish him all the best, a total shame.
