    Well as the thread title says would you consider yourself superstitious?

    Are you afraid of today (Friday 13th)?
    Would you walk under a ladder?

    So tell us all your unusual superstitions - I'm not superstitious.

    Nah, I'm not really, TBH. Sometimes if something bad is going to happen I get a gut feeling about it though, which sometimes makes me worry.

    Workmate is very superstitous.

    Does,nt like the 13th,wont have a number plate adding up to 13 etc...........i just think he does it for attention.

    I am superstitious and I would never temp fate. For instance I would never walk under a ladder because it is supposed to be breaking the Holy Trinity.

    Friday the Thirteenth is meant to be helluva unlucky and history testifies to that. That is the day Mary Queen of Scots lost the Battle of Langside, and Jacqui De Molay the Grand Master of the Knights Templar was slowly roasted to death over a slow turning spit.

    I also would never put new shoes on the table. :87:

    I'm not supertitious but I do believe that if you think in a negative manner then nothing good will happen for you. If you think positively then you've more chance of something positive happening in your favour than a negative person would because nothing in life is free and rarely will good things just fall into your lap without any graft for it. There is no such thing as luck, good or bad.

    I'm after having a very bad day though, things happened that makes me wonder about my 'luck'. I suppose I'll just have to notch it down as a life lesson. :31:

    Me either, waste of money. I usually put them on my feet and walk in them.


    As for superstitions....never again will I * a hun bird. Done it a few times and nothing good has come of it.

    I'm not a superstitious person in general but I am superstitious about Friday the 13th. I got knocked down by a car on Friday the 13th so it's not my favourite day and I'm always glad when it passes without incident.

    My brother got knocked down on friday the 13th to its made a bit paranoid because of that.
