Chelsea

Even though Chelsea have all the money now i dont grudge them it.Even though i dislike them it wasnt that in the mid ninties till the middle of this decade that Man United,Arsenal,Liverpool and a whole host of english clubs where spending more than them and European teams have been doing it for years. Man U dominated England when they where buying left right and centre.Arsenal bought well and won 3 titles and Liverpool spent well and won the champions league and now its Chelsea's turn.

 

The rest raised their money though through the success of their football team, not through one mega-rich owner.

 

aresenal were 12 when wenger took over and had been * for a few year

 

But it was through their success on the football field they got their money to spend.

 

they gave wenger a lot of cash

 

My argument though is that they earned their money through their football.

I'm not saying that they didn't spend money.

 

i agree, they progressed from winning competitions, which then allowed them to go and spend the money they had earned. chelsea though got countless injections before winning anything, so i think their sucess is not as worthy of praise/recognition as the liverpool/man u/ arsenals.

 

for all the money chelsea,and arsenal have spent they aint won the big one yet,

 

you dont get what i mean Man united spent big in the 1st year they won the league and kept going 5 years later they had a good crop of kids 4 years later they spent mega bucks Stam Ruud to name a few now its chelseas turn

 

You'd think with all the money Chelsea have they'd at least be able to have a good playing surface...that pitch was a disgrace to Champions league footballWhats the point of having a great team if theyre expected to play on that.

Im delighted Barcelona won,shouldve been more had Henke scored,It just amazes me that a team with the money Chelsea have are playing on a pitch Cowdenbeth wouldve been ashamed off.

 

Maybe they were hoping that Ronaldinho would be less dangerous on this horrible pitch

 

you have to remember one thing about chelsea they where about to go in adminastration before roman came and plough his money in to them .

Anyway i can't stand chelsea they are are all bmp loving loyalist *
with that * of a manager go on the barca Hail Hail .

 

chelsea is very good team (very boring although)
but, it has to be said - that is airtight team
but barcelona is genial and i was delighted watching how beautiful football can be ...
