Might well go down to this game, would be good if we could parade the league trophy to show the geordies some silverwear. Hope Lenny or Keano snap that cheating * shearer in the first few minutes.

The saddest part is Celtic and its fans and history are everything newcastle want to aspire to yet they fail to see that outside their own city no one gives a * about them. Those geordie scumbags are nothing more than wanabe Scots.

geordieboy , i think the small minority who slagd us off are a disgrace too ur club we are coming down to play a testamonial for one of your best players i just think they should be a little more thankfull that we agreed to play , plus it will benefit newcaslte as we will bring down about 3,000 fans , and not for the reasons that some of ur small minded fans suggested.:50: :shamrock:

    Surprise

Must say I'm surprised at the reaction of many of the Newcastle fans on that link. I really wouldn't mind if we didnt go if that was the overall opinion but I'm sure it isn't. The majority of decent people all over the world recognise Celtic as a family-minded club with great traditions. Yes we have an element of distaste perhaps with the IRA songs etc but which team doesn't have that? And, in any event, Celtic Park no longer plays host to these songs. It's gone and even at away games the songs are becoming few and far between.

I'm really disappointed in these Newcastle fans. I actually like Alan Shearer. Seems like a very decent guy to me and I hope the proceeds will go to charity a la Gary Kelly and Niall Quinn.
