Going to Isreal wont be easy so lets hope big Tony has his managers hat on we missed a big opportunity to go 2 points clear in the league yesterday. I know it's early in the season but after last season you have to take advantage when you can.:shamrock::celt_2:i think 4-4-2 the best way to go
    Boruc
    Hinkel Loovens Caldwell Fox

    Maloney Crosas Brown Mc geady

    Mc donald Samaras

This is my team what do you think?

    I would go 4-3-2-1

Play Killen as the target man

    Hinkel McManus Loovens Fox
    Brown N'Guemo Robson
    McGeady Maloney
    Killen

I see where your coming from doc but do you not think the two wide men is the way to go and maybe swap samaras for killen although he still has to prove himself in hoops

We need to retain possession, so firstly i'd drop Brown and have go for N'Guemo and Crosas in the middle, in fact i'd go as far as to have Flood on before Brown at the minute.

Brown was far better than Crosas and N'Guemo on Saturday. I dont see why he should be dropped at all.

Disagree. I think he was as ineffective as N'Guemo (both had a poor game) while Crosas at the very least offered a decent level of passing.

As for Willo Flood, i'm not his greatest fan either, however this was to illustrate how poorly I beleive Brown is playing at the moment.

Cork and the reserves is McCourt's level. Maloney is an international player with premiership experience (albeit limited!). Would be ridiculous to play mccourt in israel when he's clearly not even considered good enough for the SPL

No he is still with us. It was O'Dea, Brown and Hutchinson and Ferry who went out on loan.

But does anybody know why Killen wasn't even on the bench on Saturday.
Was it something to do with this infernal Under 23 rule :38:

he has showed a lot more heart and passion on the pitch this year than some players i can name he cant improve if he does'nt get the first team experience its ok playing in cork or the reserves but give the lad a chance and he will give 110%

    I agree CT.

Killen needs match time to show his talents on the pitch.
I still remember that goal that Killen got against Gretna
that actually helped win us the league 2 years ago.
Killen had been scoring goals in the friendlies this year too.
It is not fair imo for Mogga to overlook him now. I think we will
need Killen and Robson for the Rangers game at Ibrox.

that's fair enough mate but i just dont think he's good enough to make it in the first team. He seems to have the skill but hasn't got the pace or fitness. If he was going to make it he'd have done so long before now

Agreed. We need to back TM all the way.

However that result yesterday was a shock to the system

Ye let's drop one of our best a most creative players...We would need to get a taxi for McCourt to get to his position, he's knackered by the time he's finished the warm up!! I really don't see what the big obsession with McCourt is, is it just the Irish connection or am I missing something?
