Celtic fan fined for breaking seat at Pittodrie

    Teen acted ‘recklessly’ after goal

A TEENAGER has been fined for breaking a seat at Aberdeen’s Pittodrie football stadium.
Parkhead season ticket holder Ross Hampson stamped on a plastic seat at the Aberdeen Football Club ground shortly after Celtic scored at a match against Aberdeen FC on May 2 this year.
Fiscal depute Ian Warburton told Aberdeen Sheriff Court 18-year-old Hampson had offered to pay for the damage when he was spoken to by Grampian Police officers.
Aberdeen Sheriff Court heard the goal had been scored and Hampson had been pushed forward in the crowd at Pittodrie stadium.
Hampson, whose address was given as 28 Carron Court, Cambuslang, admitted damaging the seat at Pittodrie’s South Stand.
Defence agent Iain Woodward-Nutt said first offender Hampson had been in a very crowded part of Pittodrie but accepted he acted recklessly.
Sheriff Graham Buchanan ordered Hampson to pay £28 in compensation to Aberdeen Football Club and fined him £170.

Also in Aberdeen 2 people appeared in court for having a spit roast with a Sheep. Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaad days

Ridiculous that people support this fine, chairs in football stadiums are bits of plastic that get broke all the fecking time, get over it ffs...

fined and slated by his fellow supporters for breaking a seat...ffs...:31:

so u think it is ok for the huns to damage the seats at parkhead every year?, why do you feel it is acceptable to vandalise something in the name of celebration, * knows what he would do when the other team scored, our fans are diplomats for the club, so stop trying to justify this behaviour, how many seats and other things did the huns break in manchester, is that ok.....:38: i have supported my club since i was 7, and have never felt the need to take my emotions out on any property or person, this is NOT ON!

I have no issue with the huns breaking seats in parkhead or anywhere else, as i said they are bits of plastic, very cheaply and easily replaced.

What the huns did in Manchester has no relevance to a tim breaking a seat celebrating a goal in Pittodrie,....

our fans are not diplomats for our club, we are fans, simply that.

i think necks need to be wound way in, shouts of banning some bhoy for breaking a seat whilst celebrating a goal......this is NOT ON!

guys ive seen the damage done at the rangers end after the celtic and hun games when our new stadium opened, and to prove it to the rangers board we took two rangers employees over to show it to them, fergus was fecking raging, toilets ripped out, sinks torn off walls, seats broken everywhere, and they won that game, and this as after they banned us from ibrox for a load of broken seats.so it shot them out of the moral high ground.they paid for the damage, there is no excuse for breaking anything in a football ground or anywhere else for that matter,i work in education where our schools are vandalised daily, and parents think theres nothing wrong with their wee boys and lassies doing that as it always gets fixed, aye but who pays for it,its a blight on society.hammer them, make the parents/animals pay.
