    was petrov but now McManus
    rothen is a quality player. his left foot his absolute dynamite and rangers should be delighted to have him but unlike mcgeady he is pretty slow. mcgeady has the ability to carry his team 40 -50 yards up the park with the ball at his feet and can turn defence into attack in a moment. cant really compare the two players. both are quality.

    That bloke is a numpty btw.

    I came to this conclusion long ago. It's just the way he puts across his points with such disrespect and lack of understanding.

    I genuinely would not bother concerning yourselves with what he has to say about Scottish football and we'll wait and form an opinion for ourselves.

    Rothen was one of the ones out of the famous academy in France, but never reached the heights he was supposed to. He is a solid enough player and is no doubt an improvement on the likes of Lafferty and Beasely. He has, however, passed his best and is on the decline whilst McGeady is still improving.

    Whether he is better than McGeady, I doubt it but we'll see.

I just listened to the galloway and the carragher interviews and cant believe what iv heard!! im surprised iv never heard of him before, glad i havent. galloway tore him a new one, great effort! he can say what he likes about Rothen and McGeady, we will see how the season pans out. i woudltn be suprised if theres a story on the news soon about him gettin a tankin though, hes a wind up
