Be honest we are all disappointed with the transfers. We have need a great center half for four years but the transfer budget was blown on fortune and the manager and staff. With no cl money coming in we have a cut price year unless there is a good run the europa cup there will be no big signings. From a buisness point of view With the new europa cup we dont need to spend money. But why let darren go we have little cover now.

 

only thing I agree with. I was expectin Mowabray had a center back comin in so he let O'Dea go. Not to be though.

Lets face it, some fans wont be happy until we sign some massive superstar for £20 million. But most of us are still livin in the real world and are glad with the signings.

 

I will win the euro millions this week and fund a big money signing for all the moaners ave it

 

Window had a good start... poor finish. Felt like the 1 player we're really calling out for is another goal poacher to at least push Skippy. So we're going with the same 3 strikers that let us down last year.
Not only did we not get that but we send Hutchinson out in the process.
Could have used another CB, instead we ship O'Dea off on loan as well.

Feels like the side is very small for competing in 4 competitions + random friendlies (Benfica) right now. If we have any of the injury issues we had last year we could be in for some trouble.

Getting Zheng on a free was good business, but overall I don't think we are where we need to be.

Brown Crosas N'Guemo Robson Flood Maloney McCourt McGeady Mizuno
and now Zheng and probably Ki in the Winter.

Compare those 10-11 mids to 7 defenders and 4 forwards.
