If this is true, would've preferred him to stay, but if he's going to sign a new deal with us, like the article says, then maybe it could pan out to be a good move. Get him a big chunk of first team experience down there and bring him back next year to usher mcmanus and caldwell off to the park, and onto the bench.

Jailed for five months in 2002 and currently facing a sexual assault charge, it remains to be seen whether Celtic would harbour any interest in the 6ft 1in striker.

get him ta *!!!! if this happens ill join the British army!!!!!!!!!!!

I am surprised that mowbray has let o'dea go on loan as it leaves us short of c/backs he must have a lot of faith in the ability of the boy josh thompson to let o'dea go on loan

O'Dea has just signed a new 3 year deal with us. Loan has been confirmed too.

It'll be good for him to get a full season under his belt.

I like O'Dea would have kept him and had him as the first choice CB but hopefully he will gain the needed experience and come back a much better player just like Caddis dod and be a first team regular in the future

I cant believe this..especially with the way Gary has been playing..not to excited by the climax of the transfer window for Celtic.
