good a 2 match ban for the * too! and wee arsene blowing his top over it aswell lol!! i hope uefa start doing this with every player though mind you and not just him!!

 

i see that as dive but i think that should be given to ref to decide but if he aint touched then its clearly simulation

 

i think something should happen to arsene for suggeting it biasness from stuart taylor sayin we have too much influence in uefa if that was the case then only champions would b allowed in champions league lol id say england have more influence i also think that arsenal have not won anything in four years because they would not get the decisions they got on wednesday in england

Its done now and were out so I couldn't give a * what happened to the cheating *. The game is riddled with cheats and I can't see them all up in front of UEFA somehow. Don't think they have the time to sift though all the dives that happen in one weekend of football never mind a season.

Instant video replays for the referee are a must to help combat this. The ref could watch it back with the crowd and be given the best opportunity to make the right call... Then we could have a square go like in ice hockey where the offending cheat can get set about from the player he was trying to cheat :icon_mrgreen: Big Artur v Eduardo would have been punishment enough for the wee rat.

 

Alot of players dive yes but usually when there is at least a bit of contact. In eduardo's case there was no contact at all. The only way to stop players doing this is to come down hard on certain individuals that are doing it and make an example of them and in this case it's your man eduardo.

 

That'll teach the wee *, i am delighted that this sort of * is starting to be eradicated from the game.

BTW, If one of our lads do something similar, then he deserves the same treatment.

my proposition to UEFA and FIFA is to adopt a tennis and rugby approach. i think teams should be given 3 appeals for decisions that they feel are incorrectly called by the ref. the only people who can appeal are team captains or/and managers. when they appeal, the ref should consult a 5th official watching a tv somewhere in the grounds to call the decision.

if not for all competitions, at least European and international compertitions.

Personally I'd say the whole thing is blown out of proportion, but upon seeing the punishment, I'm not too concerned.

 

I think Eduardo is being hard done by here, I'm as * of as anyone but diving is part of the game unfortunatly, and this is the only time i can think of that a player is being punished for it after the game. If anything it's the ref's fault, he fell for it, the only way to clamp out the diving is to punish when it happens.

Thats what the dive cost us the chance of £15 million quid all be it a slim chance.

If Uefa dont do anything about this we'd be all better of forgetting about football.

Its no enough theve got all the money under the sun and the best players but that they have to cheat us aswell

 

I'm not saying it's 'fair,' but we've been hard done many a time (Porto,Juventus, man United to name a few) with it going unpunished so why now? it has and always will be a part of the game.
