Anybody watch the game? Though McGeady had an absolute shocker. Far too greedy and no end product. Im starting to fear for his development now really thought he would be a toal gem of a player by now. Hope im proved wrong

He was poor in his own half where he gave away possession far too easily but he was dangerous in there's. Again he is a victim of fans being hyper-critical of him.

Duff was brought off for Hunt and not him, that tells you something.

I thought he was quite good from what I seen, his link-up play in the forward areas was good but it was a typical friendly everybody kidding on their getting tore in but no-one actually bothering. Australia looked better than usual, when ive seen them before they played with McDonald miles away from everyone up front alone with no support and were heavily defensive, they opened up a bit tonight.

He's so over-hyped its ridiculous. Good player no doubt and has silky skills etc etc, but for all his threat and expectation he fails too often for me.

It tells you that Duff played competitive football at the weekend and McGeady didn't. It also tells you that, seeing as Duff played much the better of the two in the first half, he did enough to convince Trap of his worth.

Were you on the phone to Trap aye? Damien Duff is 30 and has 75 caps if he hasn't done enough to convince everyone of his worth by now then he's *.

For me they were both dangerous in Australia's half and Duff was only better because Aiden was lacklustre in possession.

Duff can deliver the ball, McGeady can't. I can't think of the last good game McGeady had for Ireland.

I was at the Goergia game and he was terrible, mate. Suppose the Goergia away game could well be his last good game - one whole year ago.

Typo, pal. Stooping to my levels won't do you any good in the long run.

And which Georgia game are you talking about? Because if it's the home game then I'd suggest you watch it again - refraining until after the match to sink a few tins.

I actually thought McGeady was better in the first half than Duff, Duff was too quite for me. Atleast Aido got at them a bit.

Aido always 'gets at them' at international level, but his delivery is always * and his shooting is still * criminally terrible.

Very harsh, considering that was a horrible performance from a poxy Ireland team, all of them. If you watched the whole game its not mcgeady you'd come away moaning about.

When i am watching Celtic i cringe when McGeady gets the ball because i know it will always lead to nothing, beat 2 players then either lose the ball or put in a pish cross that never beats the 1st man, time he was dropped. Most frustrating player to watch that i have ever seen.
