To be honest mate, 90% of Arsenal fans I speak to, do follow Celtic as their Scottish club. Them * are like Spurs, everyone * hates them. Classless, no history, deluded wannabes. Ok most clubs do have a few scumbags. But everyone of them * seemed to be. Horrible sight the 10,000 of them.

As for us winning the Premiership. We will fall short again. Our first 3 away games are Everton, Man United and Man City. Tough 3 games. We shall see though. I sincerley hope you win the SPL back form them * this season too. I think you've got a very good manager their, give him turn and you'll get it back. He plays football the right way. And anybody who goes to Moscow and overturns a 1-0 deficate is impressive. We've struggled loads out their when we've played them. So fair play.

Hail Hail, I like saying that lol. You don't get offended if I do, do you?:celt_2:

I've noticed a lot of that going the other way too, in recent years.

Used to be a whole load of Celtic fans had a soft spot for Man U down south, but since Wenger arrived that has changed year by year. Nowadays I think a number of Celtic fans feel - like myself - that Arsenal are the closest to ourselves in football philosophy (except you have the TV money to really push the boat out:50:)

Far as the travelling goes, it's gonna be a strange one. Normally for a gig as big as U2, they would always try to shift either the football or the concert - but this time no. So we really don't know how chaotic the traffic etc will be. And it's a good 45 mins walk from the bus station. Best advice is probably get into Glasgow as early as you can, and then see whether taxi or bus is an option. All the best, hope you enjoy it!

Yeah we experienced the same the week before with that dirty yid mob from north east London.

I have always enjoyed watching Arsenal ever since the great Dennis Bergkamp joined you guys, absolutely love that guy. Then Wenger paired him with Henry and it was just a privilege to watch. I don't need to tell you that though.

I hope the atmosphere doesn't disappoint you and I hope your right about your players crumbling. I hope it will turn out to be another very special night at Parkhead.

Hope you enjoy your visit to Glasgow, but not too much of course. :icon_mrgreen::50:

Totally agree! I have always found Arsenal fans to be good people! I have a great deal of respect for them! I have quite a few Arsenal mates and i have been waiting for this game for ages!

Slightly off topic but does anyone know anything about getting tickets for the emerates game if you're not a season ticket holder for celtic?

    Hail Hail!

Celtic Park is called Paradise because when we moved from the old ground, just across the street in the late 1890s, a journalist quipped that it was like moving from the graveyard to paradise. The paradise bit stuck.

I got a private message asking for good pubs in the area for the return leg. But it wouldn't let me send as I've not got 50 posts. But to whoever wants to know good pubs.

I recommend "The Twelve Pins" - It's an Irish pub with a huge Celtic fan base, you'd be made very welcome in there. Directly opposite is "The Blackstock". Likewise, you'll have a good night in there. Prices for drinks vary from £3-£4.50. I would say avoid Holloway Road, as that gets manic, and is usually full of OB and they can go over the top on the drinking watch.

The Twelve Pins and Blackstock, are a 5 minute walk from Finsbury Park Tube station. And both pubs are a 10 minute walk to the ground.

Any other questions, then feel free to ask. Enjoy the return leg :)

Really looking forward to the game next week. Think we should be able to take a narrow lead into the second leg...but in London we will have it all to do.

Arsenal's defence might not be the best, but its still better than ours.

Welcome gooner. If I was you and were getting dropped at Buchanan st bus station I would walk down to central station n get the train to bridgeton. U walk out the bus station n walk past the cineworld that is across the road. Once u get to walkabout turn down the street n keep walking n u will get to central station. It's on ur left hand side. U need to go for the low level trains. You keep walking through the station n go down the escalators to the bottom level. Once u r in someone will direct u it's a 20 min walk to the ground from bridgeton. You come out the station n turn right n keep walking.

If u get a black taxi u will pay a fortune. If u want a local taxi the no is 0141 774 3000. As long as u r going to b going there about 7 they will take u. If u leave it too late they mite not take u rite up to the station.

Any other help just let us know. Hope u njoy mate.

You can say that as often as you like mate:icon_mrgreen:

I agree you've got a tough start and if you lose Cesc to Barca then it's curtains for your EPL prospects but I really hope he stays

Thanks for the reply's peeps. All of which is taken on board. Much appreciated.

Cesc would be a hugggggggge loss. All Arsenal fans have accepted, that, one day he will return to Barcelona. It won't be this season though. He wants a trophy, and he will feel a failure if he doesn't win one as captain.

It's edging closer the game now. Proper nervous about this first leg, it's crucial. I feel you might do it though in the first leg. But who knows.

    Hail Hail
