What is going on at Celtic Park. We're top of the league by 8 points and that is never to be scoffed at.....but it seems to me that the team that got us to the top is not good enough to get us over the line

We're top had a good run in the league and yet Strachan, the fiery redhead, panics and changes the team nd defence more times than the team at the bottom

Basically Telfer, Balde, McManus and Camara got us to the top. O'Neill would have kept the unit. Okay so you changed the odd one or twodue to injuries and suspension but he knew Balde and McManus were out and then he changes Wallace when all the fans seem to be saying Camara is okay, improved and will do for now

Now he drops Telfer....who he * singed, he gets us to the top of the league and brings in the new lad and Wallace on the left and Virgo and Varga....what the * is he up to.

He should have left Camara and Telfer there until Balde and McManus come back and then change the defence gradually

Do we have any idea of his best defence.

Keane? Why the * did he sign him...to be a sub?? What is going on there. He can't drop Lenny...or so it seems and lets face it Lenny got us to the top 8 points clear..so why change the midfield

It seems to me that somehow this season ain't over yet and Strachan needs to get a settled defence. Imagine top of the league half way throught he season and the man has know idea who are best defence is and Wallace can join Jamie Smith for my money.....and as for Keane oh dear oh dear...how long will he stay quiet on the bench

What was the point of signing him....if you don't play him straight away

was camara injured or what? i don't understand as hannef said why change a winning format. to be honest i don't think gs knows what he is doing half the time. we need a settled team, they're the teams that win things.:31::shamrock:

To drop Mo when he finally found form and then drop him again after a good match back is baffling. Wallace is down on the official website as a forward, one thing is for sure he certainly isn't a defender. For me he is an attacking winger. GS is making him look stupid at LB and it is sad as the stigma that gets attached to him now due to his mediocre performances might be hard to remove in the rest of his career.

Also why did he change Naka's and Maloney's positions for the Motherwell game and it works well and then change it again? It is stupid to play Naka on the right as the number of times he was to drag the ball back to get it on his left foot before crossing is unbelievable, and on some occassions the chance is lost. And why play Maloney on the left? It's brizzare.

Also, when Pearo plays in the middle he has been superb, remember Tynecastle? Since then GS has put him on the left wing and he finished the game at Clyde at LB. Why?

Why he never gave Agathe a chance is unforgivable, he has treated him like an idiot and has even admitted lying about him being injured to the press because he didn't want to "embarrass" him.

Some of his decisions do leave me scratching my head and the whole Keane being at the toilet noises me up. It's so unprofesional.

However, despite these strange decisions I sing my heart out at every game as we should and we must give him and Lennon our full backing. If we win the league and the CIS it would be fantastic considering the circumstances. However, I think that our league position is being helped by the fact Hearts were in turnmoil following the sacking of their manager and chief executive and Rangers win yesterday was only their 3rd win in 15 away games and so this helps us look better than we are.

We shouldn't sugar coat over the fact our defense is poor. And some tough decisions need to be made. Going forward no one can touch us, Maloney, Naka, Petrov and Keane are by far the strongest midfield in the country, and strike force of Hartson and Magic is guaranted to get you goals. So I think we will win the league but this season is a rebuilding season as we are a team in transition. Don't expect to win every game as they will all be battles. I fully agree that some of GS decisons haven't helped us but we should all get behind him, stay to the end of the games and even if Wallace is having a stinker or Lennon is having an off day, encourage them. Don't give them a hard time. Abusing them and moaning helps no one.

    Get behind the Bhoys!

camara could have lost a lot of confidence after being dropped when he was starting to do well

I find it amusing that this thread was started before the Dublin signing.
