Is there any need for this moving of threads and berating people for not

towing the line. I read of one new member receiving the threat "you won't last long" if you don't post correctly. Some welcome. The thought occurred to me that one forum is all that is required as we are not exactly inundated with posters

This site has high standards of conduct and content set out by the administrators in the board rules, they are stickied at the top and explain what topics should be discussed in what forums. If you read the rules it would answer some of your questions.

Its your responsibility to know the rules of this site, and we assume that you have read them and are going to practice them. These rules are there because lots of experience has taught us that this is the best way to run things.

Did you see this place after the Clyde game?

You ought to get a job in domestic science if tidyness is your goal, I have been on forums with hundreds of posters and only one forum is used Are you in some sort of official role, I wasn't suggesting I would break the rules, merely expressing an opinion that they are stupid. Maybe you prefer small numbers, being the trade mark of minimal power merchants

I bet those big sites dont talk exclusively about Celtic or Soccer. I've seen big thread based sites and their soccer sections are heavily regulated.

Listen if dont like the rules, LEAVE. Nobody is forcing you post here.

That hurley comment was abit of banter, i made that clearly obvious in that post.

That sugar factory closed about 20 years ago, what the * are you babbling on about?

Now you are swearing at me, another bit of banter, I am on here because I love Celtic, certainly not to listen to you. I have to go out now, but I will take it up again later to night.

It is welcome but he's critising the rules without explaining how to make them better.

Its sounds to me like he doesnt like the rules and he's gonna ignore them

Swearing is allowed and it wasnt a personal attack or abuse. It just that your arguement went off on a complete tangent

Back in. Implicit in my gripe was the suggestion that one forum would suffice, and I firmly believe it would. At the moment we have three main forums and a sub, and we have about 15 people on line, I doubt if that would make sense to anyone other than those with vested interests. You will not trap me into breaking rules, how dare you suggest that I intend to do so, I have always posted in the correct place.
I am aware swearing is allowed, but hardly qualifies for high standards.
With typical minimal power zeal, you suggest if I don't like it I can go. The same option applies to you if you can't take a suggestion for discussion, and thats all it was.
I am well aware when the sugar factory closed, I worked in the Godforsaken place, my obtuse reference was that I never heard the word Celtic, or the word "soccer" used by anyone there and I doubt if anyone who knows or played the game would consider Tipperary a hotbed of football knowledge.
