More Media Nonsense

please forgive me for annoying you at the weekend when we should be enjoying ourselves, but I am currently at a family gathering and someone thought to bring in a copy of the Daily thoroughly absorbent * rag Ranger

I must confess to have picked it up to peruse its flights of fancy and hype which are presented to the world as sports news pages and I was faced with "Scotlands week of Shame" headlines over at least 8 pages (there may be more but it is in the trash receptical now)

Now, I thought there must have been crowd trouble or something like that but it turns out Aberdeen got humped, no surprise there for anyone whatsoever and Motherwell got humped too, again, no surprise.

Both poor teams, both up their eyeballs in debt, both rubbish = bad results against any european outfit who can trap, pass and shoot and have this incredible knack of playing this incredibly complicate game called football the easy way by finding a guy on the pitch who is wearing the same uniform as the man in posession!!!!! how wonderful that is, watching guys in the same strips passing the ball to each other at pace, while our lumbering herman munsters cant turn any quicker than HMS Ark Royal.

On to my main point, somehow Celtic have been lumped into this "week of Shame" stuff - WHY?

we were playing Dynamo Moscow who are a good team and this is our first competitive game of the season. We lost 1-0 which is not an impossible score to overhaul in the next leg. However the lowlife snakes at the Ranger find it impossible to see this and drag us into this unimaginative blatant attack because they have * all else to write about as their favourites from Govan are up to their knees in debt now (as opposed to blood) and have to sell players before they buy, the dirty bigoted rioting troglodyte sloth trashbags from a satanic rats belly. No positive spin for those * so it is a free for all as they get stuck right into us.

I can understand that Celtic and the PR department have no bite because many of the staff are not Celtic fans (which is pathetic). Surely though the board of directors must ban these shitehawks from our stadium. it costs us money to allow these freaks into our media facilities and all they do is vomit on us. They do nothing positive for the club or the fans or the sponsors - WE DO NOT NEED THEIR EXPOSURE - BECAUSE IT IS NEGATIVE.

lets bankrupt these vermin poo poos, dont buy their comics and lets voice our opinion to the custodians of our club, because the PR department are not doing their job properly and not looking after the best interests of the club - the fannies

no more negative red top rag press in paradise please.

You wanna know what my view is on the media nonsense....? I don't have one.

Why on earth would i want to subject myself to reading the red-tops rabble-rousing, *, lazy journalism? Why would i do that? Why put myself through that?

They live to agitate, it's *-stirring bilge. You might think 'Well... Have you not got a stance on this? You're a Celtic fan, You should do something about this, you should be outraged' etc...

I'm doing the most productive thing possible to harm these clowns. I'm not buying their papers & i'm not reading their papers. I'm not visiting their websites and i'm not reading their websites...

Job done, i'm a happy man. If you don't read it, it can't affect you.

I remain unaffected until i stumble upon posts like yours in my sanctuary...

Obviously no offence to you but i steer clear of it all. Don't let it get to you. Apathy is the way forward

 

Easy solution dont buy the papers or read their *

 

red tops are in the business of annoying people...its why they sell. if the paper told you that water is wet and the sky is blue they woodnae sell much now would they.

huns will buy it when the celts are getting it in the neck......and i can admit to never having bought so many papers in my life during mr le guens stay in govan.

few lessons....if the paper says a source inside celtic park says whatever.....its made up if they arent nameing a name.

and if hugh keevins says anything.....dont believe a word. worst journalist in world football. his ratio of exclusive stories being factual is shocking.
if i stepped out of the clyde dripping wet, and mr keevins told me i was a tad soggy......i'd double check.

 

I tried to punctuate my post with a very pertinent point, in that. It costs us, the Celtic support, to have these clowns gain access to paradise on matchdays. That is what galls me the most. Not a single murmur from our powers that be when we are ritually slaughtered in print by these animals and yet we let them back into our home

I have said it before, if someone comes into your house and then abuses you and your beliefs you allow them the benefit of doubt and forgive them. If they came back and did it again you would tell them to sling their hook and never darken your door again

I do not subscribe to the trash in this bigoted toilet of a country, I buy the Times (London times) and the Independent. I suppose you have to to find out what is really happening in the world as opposed to whose * are the biggest at the front of the red tops and how much they hate Celtic at the back.

In essence, my anger was fuelled by glancing at the Ranger this afternoon and it was the catalyst for my post but my main point is why no one at our club doesnt just tell them to stick it up their *

Papers 90% crap 10 % fact

 

If eveyone followed your lead then there would be no issue - the problem however is that the Daily Record is the most popular newspaper in Scotland. Whether you like it or not, the * that they fill their paper with has a massive influence. This whole "Scotland's Week of Shame" pish is a disgrace.

Furthermore, The Laptop Loyal's use of "Scotland" and "Shame" directed at Celtic, given that we associate such a title to our despicable neighbours is to do nothing other than get at us.

 

the daily record doesnt affect anyone outside of scotlands perception of celtic because they see the paper for what it is .......... a smalltime provincial rag. so it does not affect any income we would receive from outside scotland. in scotland the non-stories rags like this print actually tends to galvanise our support to back the club even more imo which could actually push us into buying more celtic products etc and actually get the club more income than wouldve been the case. im not suggesting thats why they do it, its obviously cos there a bunch of hun *, but i dont think it costs us any money

stevie, you know the press section in the main stand? the section where these dirtbags get in for free to then slag us rotten? In simple terms what i was referring to was if we banned some of these dirtbags we could elimintae some of the space set aside for them and install a row of regular main stand seats which sell for what? £450 per season? so it does cost us money to give these guys space in our home who then dream up every way possible to slag us off

I know we need to have a particular type of facility for CL journos from other countries etc but just once I would like our board to tell the hun press to shove off

 

Have you ever watched a Journo at work? The reason I ask is this, look at the size of their note pads........ and most don't use short hand. That is the reason 90% is rubbish and 10% is fact, it's because that is all they bother to record and have space for, the rest has to be made up!!
