He's going to be one frustrating player to watch. Moments of brilliance and then not being able to complete a simple pass. He has a * load of talent

As soon as I saw it wee Archie Gemmell came to mind just needed the finish, brilliant move. Look good against Spurs though hopefully he can make an impact this season judging that he keeps away from the physio's room.

i live near him an mcginn when they were in ireland, i love mccourt but i have heard ppl sayin (derry city fans) that they think mc ginn will definatly make it, but paddys fitness might let him down, i played gaelic against mcginn one day an he scored six goal an six points, he is an absolute machine, he turned down micky harte the tyrone gaelic football manager an tyrone three times all ireland champions to play football at the age off seventeen or so, he really is a talent comin through jus hope he gets a chance aswell as mc court

He's probably the smartest Footballer in the squad, he never loses the ball, is not scared to hold onto it . He spots the right pass everytime and can then play the pass. He's some footballer, hopefully gets enough games to show what he can do.

My mate says he plays as if he's sitting at home on his playstation :56: it is actually true aswell. It's as if he can see everyone on the pitch and knows what he's doing before the ball is anyhwere near him.

Paddy's never been fully fit but now that he's at a professional club and seems to have gotten to the root of his problems we should see him fulfil his potential - and he could be a legend! Check out his goals for Derry City on you tube.

I must say I was impressed by McGinn as well for the 20 odd or so minutes he played. That was a cracking long range effort he had against Spurs.

He's some talent - how many players in the EPL can slice through a defence like that from the half-way line?

Not many - pretty much none in fact (including Ronaldo). He is a natural genius, really hope he gets a good amount of games, and starts looking a bit less tentative when he's playing also

    he reminds of ginola also
