    You know I am missing watching the Bhoys on the pre-season friendly matches:

    When I had Setanta I could watch Celtic TV and see the matches - okay they may have been delayed even by a couple of days at points but you still got to see the pre-season friendlies and what you could expect this coming season.

    So what did I find myself doing last night - * subscribing to Sky Sports - Just so I could watch them in the Wembley Cup (Celtic - Barca Spauurs 7 Al (egyptian mob) -

    I have also Pre-registered for ESPN (another rip off)

    60 SPL games
    43 Premiership games - (that Sky dont want)
    Nothing else (yet)

    And you need to pay £12 pm or £9 if you have Sky Sports - at least with Setanta you got the other stuff - okay not much of it was watched but it was there.

    I will keep probably keep Sky sports for 30 days because I have to (even tho you pay for 2 months (as you pay inadvance)- cheeky... then will see if I get ESPN for £9 pm - and cancel Sky lol

    Bet the price goes up to £12 after I do that.


    Lot of stuff there anyone wanything to add?

    Any thoughts

    I feel the same. I really enjoy watching the pre-season games. I love to see the new signings find their feet and with a new manager I love to watch their philosophy come through.

    I was bout to ask about the Wembley cup but you said its on Sky? What days? and is it live?

    I really want to see us hit spurs hard. Good, good team, hope its a proper contest.

    we play Al Aly on Friday at 5pm & Spurs take on Barca afterwards

    then on Sunday around 3pm I think we play Spurs and afterwards Barca play Al Aly.

    Hoping the guys give a good account of themselves as its the last matches before Dinamo

    they should get in contact with sky and get them to open another channal for us !

    and the same thing do it like what man u and chelsea have. they show all their games in friendlys live,some goes for the reserve and youth football! * they even show you live a player signing a new contract or signing a new player! thats good also they have a load of diferent programes on and dont show you the sam thing over and over.

    thats what celtic tv was bad for ! showing the same programmes and old games constantly:31: . if they do this with sky and change the full channeal? id subscribe nae bother to it.

    You can cancel within the first 30 days with Sky. If you go over the 30 days then your tied to 12 months for the full sky subscription.. :50:

    if any of you guys dont want to pay sky/espn and want to watch all hoops games including 3pm ko at parkhead have a look at getting a motorized sat sytstem like a dreambox. you can get the equipment and get set up for around £350. if anybody needs more info pm me

    I def miss setanta, it was great knowing you were guarenteed to see most of Celtics games not like the farse last night. (Fair Play to the Friars Walk tavern in Cork by the way - Channel67 live on 5 big screens :50: )

    Im not too upset about Cetic Tv as such as bar the daily Huddle there was never much worth watching on it.
