nah, its not even interesting to argue with them. the result will prove who's right. it will be an easy walkover for you. as i said the've just lost to a semi-pro 2nd division side with there first team on the pitch :)

if we do the damage at home a don't concede an away goal then a wouldnt worry about going over to russia tbh. last time we were in russia we got an away goal and drew and are spartak moscow not a better team than dinamo moscow ?

Spartak was the best game of WGS's career IMO. Were Dynamo Moscow not the team Rangers beat in the Cup Winner Cup or were they the team that played with 12 players for a while before the referee noticed. Maybe that is a myth.

BTW, if the site is invaded by loads of Russian posters, lets be nice because I thought a lot of TC folk were strangely unfriendly to the Spartak people when they came in. Made us look like *.

I would rather have avoided Dinamo.

Only players I know are Kolodin, who takes free-kicks. And Kerzakhov, who is a pretty good striker who was at Sevilla for a while.

Gotta be confident the Celts can do it though.

Kostroma is about 300 kilometers to north-east from Moscow :)

    The result IS:
    15.04.2009: Dynamo - Spartak 3-0
    30.05.2009: Dynamo - Spartak 2-0

Dynamo is a team, which believed to own young players, so a lot of our players playes (or played) in russian U-21, U-18 national teams. They are future of russian football.
    Good bye

Dynamo have never played us but I think they have played Rangers twice. One game was a friendly among the allies at the end of the second world war The other was Rangers 1972 win in the Cup Winner Cup final. I remember a story that Dynamo played with 12 men for a while in one of those games but I cant remember the details or if its just a legend.

:76:You may be the future of Russian football, but we are Scottish football.:ynwacelti

The way I see it, this is going to be a great test for Mowbray's strength as a manager. Whilst it may not make or break his managerial career, it will set the tone for the start of the season. A big thing for me is that the Celtic team playing now have been playing together for quite some time; we've only seen the arrival of 2 new first team players and the departure of 3 first team players, which in this ridiculous transfer summer is not bad at all. While we may not have match fitness on our side, I think that Mowbray is a very ''old school'' type of manager in the sense that he takes pre-season training very seriously and likes his teams to play passing football, instead of this boot it up the field nonsense we see these days. This makes me feel a bit more at rest, but in the end up, we'll just have to wait and see what happens on July 29th. I've got a good feeling though.

In 1972 fans of Rangers run to football-ground 2 times, so referee stoped the match after 85 minutes of game. Victoty was given to Rangers, but they was disqualificated from europen cups for 2 years. 12 men - is a legend, as I know.
