there first team (with just a couple of reserves) has just been knocked out from the russian cup by a 2nd division side :icon_mrgreen:
    expect a walkover, there *.

being a Spartak fan living in England, i would actually love to travel to Glasgow to support yous - this much i hate them *. And i have a lot of sympathy for Celtic since our games few years ago. :50:

also, expect some Spartak fans cheering on you in Moscow

Should be an interesting tie, big test for Tony Mowbray and the bhoys. What we don't want is the manager to get off to a * start again and have a section of the fans on his back for the rest of his time here because of it. Hopefully the players have had long enough working with the new management and they are capable of pulling this off. Hopefully Mogga will give us a nice away win in Moscow and we'll all be over the moon.

dont see what the big deal we have a better team than them, they have 3 good players, Kombarov, Kerzhakov, Kolodin the rest are average. I follow Russian football and been to some games because i have a russian friend and they are underachievers every year

Its the toughest we could of got but not too dangerous. Just didnt want to travel to russia of all places.

It will be a good game to get the team off its feet for the season.

If we lose this are we totally out of europe, I read a while back we go into a very early round of the europa league?

What's the point in the champions route and the non-champions route? The teams in the champions route are much *. Surely UEFA would want the best teams to be playing in the group stage rather than having them knock eachother out in the qualifying rounds.

The games on wednesday the 29th.
Suppose that gives us another days rest after the rediculously scheduled wembley cup.

I know its a money making exercise, but does games against Cardiff [22nd] then wembley cup [24th and 25th] not seem nonsense before an very important champions league qualifier on the 29th.
Anno we need to get match fit, but could have the opposite affect.
    We could be tired.

Then if thats not a busy enough schedule, we play sunderland at home3 days after this tie, then its the 2nd leg on the wednesday again [aug 5th].
Then its man city away on the saturday [8th].

If we get through the tie with Dinamo its the 4th round 1st leg the next mid week, first league game on the saturday [15th] then the 2nd leg of the 4th round the midweek after that.

Not much room for a breather in there.
A reckon this schedule could cause us a bit of bother

Mowbray has stated it's a tough pre-season schedule and he intends to utilise the full squad in those games so I'd imagine a few of the reserve players/fringe players will get a fair bit of playing time.

are these qualifiers subject to the same channel 67 blackouts as the regular champs league?

Hello, Celtic fans! As you can see in my nick, I'm a fan of your opponent.
At first, I want to say, that I hope to see 2 good matches between our teams and I'm going to visit your country (but it's too hard).
At second, Dynamo Moscow now is one of the most strongest Russian teams with Great history (MUCH more great then Zenit). Don't look, that we are only on 7th plase now in table: there is a high compactness in our chempionship now and in the end we will become champions.
At third, there are a lot of good players in our team: not only Kerzhakov!

If you have some questions about Dynamo, you may ask it. I will be glad to answer.

P.S. Oh my *! What I see! :)) There are a lot of Spartak fans here %) They are licking * to Celtic fans? :)) How nice! It is destiny of all Spartak fans :)) In Russia we call them "slaves", "pigs" ore "meat" :))
