I beleive there is a reason.

Earth and Life are just far too good to be an accident/coincidence. Tellin you, theres something or someone out there thats done this. It's too great.

For a split second after the big bang, space expanded faster than the speed of light. This means that it is impossible to ever see the ends of the universe... ever. Full stop. So again, there's no real answer for that question either.

think your gettin mixed up mate. No mass can go faster than the speed of light, that's why even if we somehow set off from earth at the speed of light we could never reach the edge of the universe as it has a headstart on us of about 14 billion years at the same speed. (Not too sure if thats the right estimation o the start of the universe). Although, i'm sure i read somewhere about a theory called the "Big Crunch" - basically the Universe contracting back in on itself and starting over again. So in that case, if we,re still aboot as a race, it'll come to us. The mind * boggles as to how * like this is actually theorised!

I know it's impossible, but it did! Read about the inflationary epoch of the Big Bang. The universe expanded by a factor of 10^50 in less than 10^-30 seconds. People try to make sense of it, but it's just another bizarre thing that happened at the beginning of the universe.

And yea, the Big Crunch was a theory, but now the more accepted theory is that our universe is actually accelerating driven by dark matter. This means that eventually the universe will just be a burned out, dark, vacuum of individual particles over the course of a mind-boggling amount of time. Rosy, isn't it?

But since matter can't be created or destroyed, wont everything just squeeze together until there's no more room?

And where's it all expanding from? There's got to be a point of origin somewhere, there has to be a centre.

And if that's mind numbing, whats this?: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b0lxbzgwW7I

it could just be that before the big bang which created our solar system we were just a corner of space that was uninhabbited and since the theory is that the universe is circular and endless the big bang materials just drifted along and happened, one epically gigantic "oops...."

That's just the earth i think it took a long six days, the whole universe or space, whatever it is took less than a second.

That makes me think can the bible not answer this (google can't either) or did they not know about outside this world when they were jotting down their book of bullshit?

no such thing as before the big bang as time, space and matter weren't in existence until the big bang.

something can't come from nothing know it's one of the laws of physics, energy isn't created its form is changed so there was something here before it.
