    It actually helps the muscles because the blood gets rushed away from them (numb feeling) and when you are out the bath new blood rushes in and helps aches and pains. Never had one mind you ! My dad and brother have been in the baths at Lourdes and they were supposedly ice cold.

    very very hard to take being in that icebath, but looking at the other guys suffering in the ice bath made me smile

    yup your dead right, i was studyin the * last year in college, the theory being that the new blood is oxegen rich. though i gotta say i wish i didnt volunteer to do it cause i did feel like much else of a man when i came out, many women in my class too. :52:
