How much do you think Petrov should go for

How much money would you be satisfied with if petrov had to leave right now. I wouldnt be happy unless we got about £12 million

I would want at least 8 million for Petrov going in todays market. Our prize asset, we should be making good money for him if he leaves.

 

What I would want and what I think will be offered is two different things, if he goes it wont be for more than 4 million!

I have not been reading about that, however I also dont know what his agent is asking for, but its my opinion that if its beyond the present amount that the board want to pay, then its one of the rare occasions I will agree with the board.

 

I wouldn't, if we can break the bank for other players, but not for our best player then I would be disapointed. While I don't want Petrov to think he can get what he want and demand and demand, give Petrov a more than fair contract and also one he cannot reject. Then i'd be happy.

 

Yes but goodness gracious your being very vague what bank was broken and when, also what is a more than a fair wage for Petrov, I believe Petrov would accept a fair deal, but only he his agent and the board I imagine know what that is?

 

Not sure what a fair deal is, one that all 3 parties would be happy. As long as we kept Petrov then I'd be happy. Well, big contracts include, Lennon, Keane, Sutton etc and I believe Petrov should be able to command a wage similar to that of those players.

 

Lennon and Sutton signed at a different time and negotiating climate, Keane is a signing all of its own I guess who knows, so again I feel you aint saying nuthin, I am not contradicting or disagreeing he should be given top consideration, but what the is that, and the powers that be are privy to that only, I guess?

 

Don't let him go imo, give him whatever he wants, if he really really wants to go (doubt it) then we let his contract run out, and get 18 months out him, the money would just go in Desmond and Quinn's pocket's anyway.

If Petrov did leave I thik Celtic would take £5>5 million for him easy remember we payed £2.75-million for him off Leski Scofia(i think)But if it was up tp me I wouldn't sell him for anything less than £10-million What a player and just look what happened when he got injured the bhoys wasn't the same+they said Petrov could be out for 4-weeks but he only really missed 2 games 1 league+1 Cup game so that shows you how much we need him in the team+great Stamina+Running box to box the best in UK easy if not Europe at this moment

We already have his replacement in Naka. Put him in the centre, rip teams apart with two strikers with movement. Easier to buy a new right sided midfielder.
Get it into your heads, Petrov wants to go. Offer him what he is worth, not a penny more. This talk about offer what he wants is nonsense. No player is irreplacable.
