McGeady: the heat is on

Still not 100% convinced about McGeady.
It's more his attitude than anything else that gives me cause for concearn, he has talent, but he needs to toughen up a bit and be more robust, also I would like to see him keep his head up more as he is often guilty of taking on one too many when a simple option is open to him.
I hope he makes the grade, but we have had so many young pretenders over the years, he is still far from the finished article.

aiden is a great player although i would'nt play him in my starting 11 but thats the difference between us and them hoo sit in fourth spot we can make huge differences in the match with our subs they cant *

 

He's only a kid bhoys for christs sake and he is allowed to make mistakes at that age.He can make as many as he wants IMO if he keeps answering his critics like he did yesterday! If he was earning £30,000 a week and not giving 100% i would be more concerned.

jonnogael, my critisism of McGeady were only about some of the things he did against Clyde and what he said before the Killie game. I never said he was a bad player SO you can stick that hurley up your *

 

mcgeady turned what looked a very hard game against m/well hes only 19 give him a chance he will be a legend when we played milan nesta chased mcgeady for his strip he was that impressed

 

Nobody here said that McGeady was a bad player or not realising his potential, he is. The improvements and maturity in his games can be easily seen when compared to last season. This thread was about the Killmarnock pre match interview he gave. Nothing else.

He won us a game that was destined to be a draw, players that can do that are special.

whats mcgeady going to be like when hes 27 complete class

 

hes got natural quality and we should try hard to keep him because he will become a great player

 

The amount of abuse he gets at CP if he makes a mistake is unreal and he knows it. You can see when he scores he is holding back in his celebration and I don't blame him.

 

aye its shocking he doesnt deserve any of it hes still a young lad and is still learning we should be thankfull we have young talented players with lots of potential like him coming through at celtic unlike the 4th positioned club

 

He's a good player, too inconsistant the now but a think after a few more years that will come, totally changed the game on Sunday, showed his ability, great to have somebody with that talent who can change a game on the bench.
