A great window that would be.

Wouldn't mind Ciftci if Guidetti or Hooper say no.

I'd bring in Denayer, Bossaerts and Angelino on loan from City. I know some people aren't fans of the loan system but we'd be hard pushed to find talent like Denayer and Bossaerts within our budget. If we can keep them for a couple of season, I'm happy. I think Angelino would be decent cover for Emilio, provided his wages aren't too high (they shouldn't be, should they?).

Of course, if we can find players of that quality to sign on a permanent basis, then I'd rather that.

I'd prefer permanent signings but I can see this 'relationship' with Man City really benefiting us. With the wealth of that club, they'll have a lot of very good youth players/fringe players. Denayer has been a fantastic deal so far.

Is the Bossaerts guy even good though? * only thought we wanted him as they guessed him when we only heard we were getting a young Belgian, he may be an average player.

If we can't get Denayer we should try for Rekik, I don't really rate Rekik that high definitely not as good as Denayer or Van Dijk but would be an ok replacement.

I would like to get that Marcos Lopes from them, could play any of the front 4 positions for us.

    Aye, he is.

Lopes is well out of our reach.

is that tasende? heard good things about him. playing well above his age level for a few years now.

for whoever queried bossaerts, he had been more highly rated than denayer before this season. denayer just got the opportunity to play at a higher level first and made the most of it. i think bossaerts is seen as more of a no-nonsense type CB like kompany whereas denayer i feel is quite similar to virgil.

id gladly have both of them here next season, although i do think we will need some sort of experience at CB too. id like us to bring in someone like bengtsson, kana-biyik or forren….i think theyre all within our reach

A quite like Rekik, still young as *. He still on loan at PSV? Watched him a few and he looked decent.

Marcos Lopes would probably skin us mega millions he's gonna be class if FM is anything to go by.

When we were being linked with the Belgian centre half in the summer I looked Bossaerts up and he was rated higher than Denayer going by quite a few things I read.

I'm sure Denayer would be able to give some information on him if we did decide to go for it.

I doubt he is average anyway. The majority of City's development squad are rated nowadays.

How well out our reach? on loan at Lille and not getting that many games. Not as if he's any danger of breaking through or playing for that good a team the now.

Unless you mean more chance of going on loan to Benfica or that where he'd be more comfortable.

Way out our reach would be getting like Deulofeu on loan who has has 2 good loan spells at better teams, not a youth player whos done nothing in the game.

I'd no idea how he was doing at Lille, to be honest. He scored a cracking goal against Nantes earlier in the season. I thought he'd kick on from there but if he isn't getting game time over in France, we might have a shot.

He's a fantastic player. Reminds me of James Rodríguez.

    That's the one.

He turned down Real Madrid and Barcelona before signing for Manchester City.

Aye, he'd do a job up here. He's got a decent first touch and good balance plus a lot of experience in the EPL. He's obviously not a dream signing but a fairly realistic one.

31 and coming to the end of a less than glittering career. Over 300 career appearances, 68 goals.

Dunno why so many * suggest him.

This is a bit of a long shot but what are your thoughts on Greg Stewart at Dundee? Top scorer in the Premiership. Just showed a montage of his goals this season there and they're of a really high standard - cultured, always finds the corner. I don't know much about his general play but his finishing is excellent.
