    Assou-Ekotto has been released by spurs would be genuine competition atleast till the end of the season, money grabber though... Roger Johnson released be alright for cover at CB as well decent free signings for the treble and i would have Ekotto at LB in Europe without a doubt

    i thought he'd be a shout when i saw he'd been release.

    hes been diabolical the last couple of seasons, but theres definitely a solid defender in there. was great for cardiff and looked solid in 09/10 for birmingham. just dont know whats happened to him recently

    Quite an easy shopping list for the summer in my opinion just replace who we lose and add a left back. I am already thinking we will lose Denayer Virgil and Guidetti.

    Ciftci is a good shout if Guidetti doesn't sign up however I have no idea where we are going to find two centre halfs close to the quality of the two we have currently which is slightly depressing. :54:

    I agree on Ciftci. I'd see if City wouldn't lend us Denayer for another year. Think they might (esp if make the CL groups). After that, I'd go back to where we got Virgil and Wanyama and scout the Dutch and Belgian leagues for a good, young-ish (preferably ball-playing) centre-back.

    I keep mentioning him here, but I'd still go after Tommy Rowe of Wolves as competition for Izzy.

    Croatian first division, top goalscorers: Duje Cop and Dejan Radonjic or even El Arbi Hillel Soudani.

    Always good talent coming from there and if you buy at the right time - cheap. Radonjic would be our best bet, the other two would maybe cost too much.
