He's a decent player with reasonable experience, not much better than what we have though and would no doubt command a big wage if EPL clubs interested

haven't seen him since his time at Hull. seems good now though with a great scoring record last year. Strong as * and only 23, he'd fit our signing policy but i can't see him going cheap.

can only see us affording him if Hooper is sold for decent money but we don't spend big.

Big powerful * and good with his feet.

Would love him to sign for the hoops!

Would he not be out of our price range? I thought he was valued at £5-7 million (maybe a bit more).

I haven't see enough of him in all honesty, but the little bits I have he seemed alright. Although from what I've read on here plenty don't rate him too highly.

Personally I don't expcect anything to come of this, but I'd be pleasantly surprised if it did.

worth 4 million tops, doubt wed go for him, although he might be keen on champions league, doubt he could sign for anyone else who could give him that

A real handful who has added goals to his game in the last few seasons. Would love this, but since when have the Daily Star predicted anything?

We already have a big lad in Balde that we paid quite a bit for. There is no way we are going to splash out even more on a big striker.

Not sure. I always forget he is still only 23, broke onto the scene quite early as a youngster. I just remember him for that * season with Hull city, but he was only 19/20 then. The past two seasons he has came onto a bit of form, 31 goals last year and 20 the year before. Yes, the Eredivisie is * defensively, someone will probably make that argument:56: I wouldn't say no to taking him though, big powerful forward who also appears to have added goals to his game. Doubt we are interested, as someone else said, he would cost £5m at the least most likely and we won't pay that.

"There's plenty of speculation this morning about former Tigers striker Jozy Altidore. The £5m-rated American international is wanted by Sunderland - with Fulham, Southampton, Cardiff, Norwich and Celtic also interested"

Seen that on a Hull City transfer talk section. He will end up in the prem no doubt.

I would and i'll tell you why, AC Milan chucked on two big African/French guys against Juve during extra time in the cup. They weren't just big guys, they were fast and tricky players, but powerful to.

A usually "professional" defense pretty much fell to pieces. Juve still won through, but these two big guys caused absolute mayhem for ten minutes. I watched that game and thought, that's it. That's what they don't like. 2 guys with good movement who are impossible to bully.

With these two it would be a nightmare for defenders. One with height, that shields the ball really well and another with the running power and good technique running at defenders with the ball.

£5million's a lot though, but if you look at his scoring rate from last year, it could be an absolute steal.

£5million for Hooper just about pays for the deal.

I would literally weep with joy.

I have a Jozy U.S. jersey hanging up next to a Hooper jersey in my room.

Jozy was on fire for AZ this season and has continued his form with the USMNT by scoring in his last four games, a U.S. record.

However...this is rubbish and will never happen.

Take him in a heart beat. Good strong player, would work well with watt I reckon. Also would help push our market in America again.
