he was on trial here before we signed him. Plus youth team signings are completely different than signings for the first team. There are plenty of talented youth teamers playing in lower divisions, almost all of them have been snapped up by bigger teams/leagues by the time they are 20 let alone 23.

Yes to both however we would have plenty of competition for Le Fondre.

Phillip Hosiner is a must buy for us. Been on fire this season, exactly what is needed, if Hooper goes or not.

He's only been at Austria Wein for a season and with his record I doubt they'll sell. Bundesliga clubs probably know about him

Loic Remy and Adam Le Fondre are both at clubs going down. I don't know what their contract situations are, but both look good enough for me, and may be interested in a club entering the CL.

Don't know until you try. We should have spent the money on Marc Janko before he left Salzburg we shouldn't miss the opportunity to get this guy in. We need something new upfront and he is my choice.

Jan Kirchkoff onloan from Bayern. Signed a pre contract with them from Mainz. Big strong centre half. I doubt he will be starting every game for them next season? Why not try and get him in onloan, potentially give him some champions league experience..

How about Nilmar the Brazilian striker? Always been a big admirer and he might want one last crack at Champions League football. Valued at £4m though which might be a problem considering he's 28.

Liverpool want him mate, no doubt he will go there as it is a better league and he will have more chance of getting a cap for brazil, plus lucas and coutinho are at liverpool to help him settle in.

    Let The People Sing,
Akinfenwa? Big strong 16stone of muscle * who has scored 16 goals for northampton this season. 30 year old could still do a job a reckon and wouldn't cost much, or what about Tom Pope from port vale? 31 goals this season, 27 year old and wouldn't cost much either. None of these players are on wages we couldn't afford or would have too high a transfer fee. Both are english so don't need help settling in ( language barrier etc ).

Plus the major selling factor, Imagine Tom Pope signed for us ( his number is 11 ). I would get his name on my shirt...... Pope(s) 11.

Mentioned him before but what about Harry Maguire from Sheffield United?

20 year old England under-21 international that must want to play in a higher league that League One. A unit of a boy, a good 6"4 maybe a tad on the slow side but with Wilson recovering I just think we need a big lad at the back that doesn't take any * from big centre forwards in the SPL. He's from the SU youth academy as well and I'd be surprised if he was on a huge wage. One of the few defenders that I've seen cope with Jordan Rhodes rather well, too.

Cons is he is still young and needs to iron out the mistakes - but that'll come with time. Also he's young and English, which means he wouldn't be going on the cheap. His nickname is leadboots so make of that what you will. Turns like big Maj from what I've seen of him.

Oh, and it isn't the IRA gunman Harry Maguire, before anyone makes that joke.
