    If we don't get Forster then what about Westwood from Sunderland? Very good goalkeeper but can't get much of a game because Mignolet is class.

    So we need am absolute beast at center back, their are a few at Levante. Two out of contract. I reckon we need someone from abroad who's played in the Spanish league.

    Someone mentioned this guy Sergio Ballesteros, he's 36, but he just played 38 games this season, so i'm guessing he can hack it in oor league. Their is another guy Gustavo Cabral, an argentinian. Maybe they could take Suarez and it saves us £5million.

    Definetley need an older experienced centre half, one that has played top level to replace the majstorovic role, and another quality centre half.

    Would like Klasnic and a poacher and a left winger because Commons and Samaras are too hot & cold with form.

    Ballesteros looked very good when I saw him against Barcelona this year, seemed to lack pace though which would worry me as we often play against teams trying to hit us on the break.

    On the subject of the boy Kara, he sounds like a (much) taller Wanyama. Would like to see us raid Norway for him and Markus Henriksen; especially if Ki leaves (which I think he will).

    I actually remember Ballesteros from when he played against us for Villarreal in the Uefa Cup in 2004. I remember thinking they had a brilliant centre-back/goalkeeping trio. I was particularly impressed by Fabricio Coloccini over the course of the two games (though both CBs handled Larsson really well) so I've kind of kept an eye on his career since. And the 'keeper was, of course, Pepe Reina; so out of the three, Ballesteros was kind of the least memorable by default (I had actually forgotten who he was until I googled him just there).

    He seemed a v good CB at the time, but that was eight years ago now.

    Agree with above posters recommending Ivan Klasnic and Pavel Pogrebnyak (especially the latter), but I'd like us to go for slightly younger strikers.
