    Same friend is now saying he spoke to a journalist from the Press & Journal who said Hayes is close to signing a pre-contract with us.

    We only really have Commons, Forrest and McCourt, and Lennon doesn't seem to rate McCourt.

    I think Hayes is a good player but if we were signing a winger from the SPL Templeton would the best choice imo.

    da silva edgar 6'3 striker only 24 plays for Victoros in Portugal good scoring record for a mid table portugese club. Played a big part in them qualifying for the Europa league last year. Not sure how much he will cost? And he can score penalties

    Salomon kalou? Wants away from chelsea. Near the end of his contract saw somewhere that it would be around the £3m mark. Decent player lots of experience. Surely we could compete with everton who want him.

    Rory mckeown and Ben Gordon of killie are both good young left backs. Gordon is about 20 and mckeown is 18. Would do as backup for izzy if he gets injured again and could also develop into be key players.
