not seen enough of him to comment playing in scotland i think is harder than playing down south. Not many cut the grade here. Henri Camara is a good example of that. Did not do much up here then went down south and was scoring for fun. i'll give him a chance if we sign him only fair.

Playing in the SPL is not harder than playing in the EPL.

Marc-Antoine Fortune likely to snub Celtic with Hull City move

Hull City are confident that AS Nancy striker Marc-Antoine Fortune will become their first signing of the summer.

The club have had a bid accepted for the striker by French club AS Nancy and are optimistic he will ignore the overtures of Celtic and head to the KC Stadium.
Hull manager Phil Brown is bullish about the prospects of recruiting Fortune even though his efforts with West Bromwich Albion last season are said to have attracted bids from two other Premier League clubs.

“We’ve spoken to the player, to his agent and to the president of Nancy and were very encouraged” Brown said.
“Now we’re awaiting an answer from the player that we’re the favoured club ahead of Celtic.
“We’re hopeful of getting something done, maybe that will happen this week.
“But there’s always that doubt in your mind that so long as he’s out there, someone can be interested in him. He did play well last season and endeared himself to the Premier League.
“We’re awaiting a nod from him now and hopefully that will be some time this week.”
Nancy sporting director Nicolas Holveck said three English clubs were in the running for Fortune.
“We have accepted three separate offers, all from English clubs,” Holveck said.
“All are in excess of four million euros and, with add-ons, one is approaching the five-million mark.
“We are happy to allow the player to begin negotiations with these clubs and we expect the transfer to be formalised by Monday.
“It’s still possible he could move to Celtic but they have yet to make an acceptable offer.”
Fortune, 27, played at West Brom on loan from Nancy for the second half of last season’s ill-fated Premier League campaign and his stock rose as he struck five goals for the Baggies

    €5m. = £4,3m.

Celtic shouldn't pay that much for a player who isn't better than this.
