I suppose, if you want to play mediocre teams in the championship, without any guarentee of European competition, then i suppose... maybe it is the wrong move for mowbray:87::87:

well in the most its very balanced and well written and its good to see someone who can be diplomatic and honest about it even though as a fan he will obviously be gutted . It would be so refreshing if all our own fans could be the same more often because the article says success isnt guaranteed and thats the case no matter who is where but you have to back the man / player / coach through thick and thin and if it doent work out then we can moan .

A very balanced and well written piece. I'm sure WBA fans have every right to feel aggrieved, they stood by a manager, who got them relegated, because of his principles of playing good football and now it looks like he is about to leave them. It is good to read that they can see things from Mowbray's point of view too. I really don't think we have any right to slag WBA off for playing mediocre teams in the Championship. Most of the SPL are of a Championship standard and indeed I would suggest the lower reaches of the SPL wouldn't even survive in the Championship

Good read. I think they are writing at an unbiased point of view and not saying stuff like "he should have gone" or "he was * anyway" or things like that which is good to see.

well written article from a slightly bitter albion fan who is trying not to show any bitterness. They also want to look at positives (and they are right in doing so)

other than that , its what u'd expect .

He has a right to be bitter. IMO. But on the whole I thought it was well written. There was a lot of what he said was the truth.

how would we feel if a manager we supported through hard times, just up and walked away to another job?

    Fair play to the guy...

Ever since the story broke that Celtic were interested in Mowbray the WBA fans started to turn on him, I was going on to see what they thought of him and most thought he wouldn't go at first then they started to * about him cos' he didn't come out with a statement saying he was happy a WBA.

I think they are a bitter bunch. They all moaned about Peace before Mowbray was linked with the hoops and now because he got 2m compensation for Mowbray they are singing his praise, when the truth is they wouldn't have got relegated if he had actually spend some money on the team.

They seem to be lashing out at Mowbray and Celtic but the truth is the manager and chairmans relationship was breaking down and their fans were behind Mogga until he made it clear he was interested in the celtic job. In time they will see that it is their chairman that is ruining their club and realise Mowbray was good for them.

I understand where your coming from mate, but think of it like this how would we have felt if mon had been offered a job away from celtic. And then took it . We would have been the exact same i think. We would have been bitter too
