It is not exactly a good argument to say he will be successful at something he has no experience in either. He could be the next sensation, but are the board willing to take the risk on the fact that he might have what they are looking for. I could not take that risk TBH. If it goes pear shaped the board know it won't be the manager who gets it in the head. it will be them for giving someone the job with no proven track record and they know it.

Yes you do, his short managerial record up until then was very poor, sacked by the club.

They only took him on because he was great player.

I went for Moyes but i like the idea of Hitzfeld and Lambert with Lennon still at the club, Hitzfeld nurturing our future manager, which ever one it may be.

There are a number of possible scenarios that could be taking place here...
Either they are not in talks with him and its press rubbish
    or
They agreed with celtic to deny reports(also celtic refused comment)of any talks if it arose...and .with names like martinez and coyle playing as a smokescreen. But now they are rumbled
??not 100% sure what i think

Leo beenhakker or however he spells his name. He has a better CV (about 30 years long than all the usual candidates put together. Must have a football brain like the Meekon.

Would love to see Bilic, Moyles or McCarthy, but out of the realistic candidates then Coyle.

    Voted Coyle

    * I saw the list and thought, we got more managers than players now.
I honestly would not pick anyone off that list to be our manager. But I read all the posts and would go along with someone who said we have nothing to lose in trying Willie Mc Stay. I think a seasons trial would do no harm. The man has well earned it
