Caldwell

Heard today that Caldwell is a done deal. Anybody heard any news about this? For the record he is a big Celtic fan, so no probs about him playing for the jersey.

 

nothing said through here about caldwell leaving. mowbray says hes had no word from any team about any player so dosnt look done yet

 

I want whittaker and thomson, not caldwell

 

id rather have scott brown

for me scott brown is the best player in the hibs side and i would rather have him hes not scared has great pace and good ability but best of all he has a determination about him and a ruthless streak to dig in when the going gets tough so yes i would rather sign scott brown even though hes had a few scrapes with bobo balde and co as when du wei learns english i think he will replace the big man in the side.

i know hes a bit of an animal but he can play and has a ruthless streak about him he has terrific pace and i believe he would be an asset to our side i know hes been involved with balde before but i think this is balde last year because these desplays cant go on when du wei learns english i think he4 will come into the side and play along side mcmanus telfer is okay but we could be doing with a left back and the boy murphy with hibs is the best full back in the league just know so id have murphy and scott brown

 

its gd 2 see that you all think we have good players at hibs . but you wont be getting any of them, except riordan and caldwell. mowbray says if £10M is offered for scott brown, he might talk to the board about it. hibees not 4 sale!!!

 

Every player has his price Sproule and I could see Mowbray and the board accepting an offer less than £10 million for Brown. Wouldn't want to see him at Celtic though, he's a dirty little *. Let the Huns try and get him. Would rather see Whittaker, Thomson at Celtic, they are much better players. As far as the Caldwell thing goes, it was said it was a 'done deal' about a month ago, so I'm taking it as it's still where it was and is no further forward. Wouldn't mind seeing Caldwell in the Hoops though, not a bad wee player.

 

scott brown is the most consistant player at easter road, i go 2 every hibs game and im telling you now, if celtic had scott brown, you would love him, as for caldwell, use can have him, well get better. thomson is a great player and will go far, but whittaker still has alot to learn before he moves on, he dosny have alot of position sense, hes class going forward though!!

 

If he signed for Celtic, i'd obviously have no choice but to support him, still think he's a hot headed little * though.

 

i think your being a bit harsh there. i will say he used to be under blobby williamson as he didny have a clue how to breed players, but mowbrays got him sorted out and im sure youv seen him recently and youll know that he is a class act to the scottish game and isny hot headed no more

 

Only really see him when Hibs are against Celtic, Rangers or Hearts but never really watch his game that much if Hibs play the Huns or Jambos. Suppose im probably only remembering the moments that stick out in my mind about him.

 

When Brown came onto the scene a couple of years ago i did'nt think he would make it as he was more interested in fighting with other players other than playing football but he has came a long way since then and along with Whitaker,Thompson,Caldwell and Riorden probably the best players Hibs have had in a long time.I for one would like to see all of them at CP.

 

brown is definetly by a mile hibs best player and would be a revilation at parkhead pace craft ability no fear all attributes of the celtic way

 

Does anyone know how long Scot Brown's contract at Hibs is.

 

i think it is the end of next season so if im right he has 18 months left

 

Hot Head's? What about Hartson, Lennon and Keane, they are soccer hard * by any standards.

Thought i would resurect this thread. I heard about this deal a few weeks ago. We could do with him know not at the end of the season.

 

Caldwell is one of quite a few bhoys playing for other teams.Mark Wilson,Gary O'Connor,Darren Fletcher,James McFadden,Zander Diamond,Kevin McNaughton to name a few
