with transfer window now open the wheelers and dealers need to make some moves. For example:
we need to transfer out Thompson, Varga, Agathe and , although it pains me to say it, if Moyes offers 2M for Sutton we should take it. D'y'all think we might get lucky and get Bobo "discovered" at the African nations cup tournament so we could get a few quid for him before he leaves. We need to transfer IN - maybe Kilbane, and certainly we need refreshing in the areas of left and right back. BTW why is the present trend for wing backs???
Away from the actual "on field" personnel surely we could do with a PR person who could keep us up to snuff about when people are no longer being selected. What is the situation with Zurawski, Beattie, and now Petrov???? also would like to hear the real story on whether Du Wei is gonna be a replacement for Bobo or will it be Virgo and if one or other were not able to displace Bobo(given the way he has been playing) are they really of the right calibre?? I know they have been on the bench but that is a bit from being in the team. Also need some kind of re-assurance re Marshall.

I agree mate. strachan is a brave man and seems to be takin the approach of out with old in with the new. But i dont want to see players like kilbane being bought. having watched all the irish matches and most everton matches he simply isnt good enough not even for everton. We dont need another striker or midfielder. We need a defender. Our whole defence yesterday actually cost celtic 0 pounds to bring here.

Just hope GS is a man of his word saying one week that Pearson should be better off going on loan then bang comes on yesterday+changed the Match Completely,Did you see his reaction when we had scored the winner to me that doesn't look like a player wanting to leave no-way+McManus as well GS needs to get him a contract sorted out ASAP

I think Balde's replacement will be in the form of Du Wei or Virgo.

Thompson showed glimpses of his class against Hearts, could be a mistake offloading him.

Varga & Agathe are th only two players that I wouldnt be sad to see go. They have offered nothing this season. (Du Wei & Virgo will get theirs soon)

I want Mark Wilson, Kevin McNaughton and Stephen Kelly brought in. Our current full backs aren't capable of GS's tactics

But with Naka on the right he's the only player on the left that can cross properly which counts for a lot with strikers like Hartson to aim for

I would rather see Agathe at Right Back than Telfer. Agathe is younger, quicker, better tackler and scores more. We mgiht only get 1 more season out of Telfer but with Agathe I think we have a right back who can cut it for 3 seasons maybe.

Saying that, Telfer is as WGS says one of the fittest guys on the team and hasnt really done too much wrong. Perhaps his experience helps out the CB's a little bit.

We need to worry more about how to get rid of Balde and a new LB i say !

Telfer was out of position for the first goal, Naka's failed cross was played into where Telfer should have been.
