Mowbray's midfielders have actually not done too much wrong by him. His defenders on the other hand . . .

 

I always liked donati and i prefer him to crosas. Who knows though he might click with the new manager and we could see alot more from him. Thats if he stays of course.

 

lol wierd i was just thinking bout this today massimo has been blamed for bad TEAM performances i didn't feel that was fair at the time and still don't. He is not a bad player at all just dilly dallies about on the ball too much for my liking but if he can sharpen up his passes then i feel he could become a top midfielder for us.

 

people seem to forget haw lazy the bloke is. His defensive skills were not up to scratch and sometimes he was guilty of ball watching, very much the same as samaras. He has great skills, and can pick out players from long range, just think his game is not suited foe the spl.

 

if mowbray gets the job Donati will be the main man. Donati is the best footballer at celtic fc

 

Hes finished, Crosas should be the main man in our midfield with Brown

 

* no, his style doesn't suit the SPL. I hope he leaves.

 

Much like Robbie Keane at Liverpool, I just don't think Donati was given his chance. I hope he gets a shot

 

decent player might do better under the new guy. hope so or else he 'll just be remember as a waste of a few million when we cant afford to waste it.

 

i dnt think think its fair on donati for me he has done more for this club than crosas his goals against aberdeen and his goal against shakter now people will say you cant judge him on those goals but i can because people think crosas is so great because his goal against st mirren which in my eyes is all that he has done if anything donati when he has had the ball has kept it better than crosas all be it donati has made mistakes but that is because he isnt scared to go forward on the other hand crosas has hidden too deep in most of his games as soon as he gets the ball he passes it on and another point donati has put up with reserve football that just shows he is willing to do whatever to play for this club i dnt think crosas would do that

 

i like him i think if he played in a different system to strachans that aloud him to push forward he would do well beside crosas or robson, not brown coz his final ball is very careless which is something i think broony needs to work on desperatly. i'd like to see brown in a more defensive midfield role were he could bully a lot of players rather than run about daft and get caught square a lot of the time.

 

see what the new manager can do with him

 

He is mince he has had plenty of time and I don't see how he can improve our midfield we have players better than him.

Massimo donati IS the best midfielder at our club, the fans got on his back on one game the season before last when the team were playing absolute dire and he stepped up to the plate and tried to take responsobility of the * mess the team were unfortunately he didnt do it well, ever since then idiots have been getting on his back, he has more skill than that over rated brown, players dont just lose their talent they just lose there way and with strachan not backing donati of course he's nervous, he stated recently that he loves the club and glasgow and he would consider staying if strachan left, i really hope the new manager recognises his talent

 

He's a very talented player, no doubt about that. He was very unlucky this season because he was just coming back into the team and making an impression when he broke his toe around winter time. This was also at the time when Crosas and Robson were out with long term injuries which left Brown and Hartley as our only two CMs. If he'd been fit he would have got a good few starts because of Hartley's age/general crapness. The 3-0 game against Kille when Sheridan scored twice, he was absolutely brilliant, and in the cup game against them as well.He was definitley coming onto a game and forcing his way back into the fold before his injury. Whats the harm in giving him 6 more months under a new manager?

 

In the second half, the crossfield pass that put Caldwell in behind their defence but Caldwell's bad touch * it up?

There was also one were Boruc kicked left footed (think he had injured his right at this point) and everyone moaned, but somehow it led to McDonald being vitually one on one with their keeper but he was to slow.

 

i dont believe hes that good in the SPL. see people forget rather quickly...how about when he does get the ball * stand and get his wee calculator and protractor out to work out the best angled ball to play all the while someone takes if off his toes before he notices? you font get so much time on the ball that he needs...im not denying his footballing ability, but i do believe hes in the wrong league.

 

That was one of the best passes I've ever seen from a Celtic player. Honestly its up there with McStay's at Ibrox, absolutely unbelievable pass.
