    cheers gord for 4 brilliant years, i was a hater to start with but was won over with a fantastic 2nd half at tynecastle in the first season. coming back and winning 3-2 after being 2-0 down was one of my fav celtic performances of my life. securing the league that season and watching the huns limp in at 3rd was magical. the way u defended hartson and pearson after the athenry scandal was hillarious "bong news at ten"
    wiping the floor with PLG the following year was brilliant along with nakas freekick to beat united and a crack at the last 16 then rallying the bhoys when we lost tommy and delivering 3IAR.
    thanks again wee man you are a celtic legend. some may dissagree but the history speaks for its self aw the best

    Well Gordon after that team we had 5 great years of watching(Henke,Lubo,Lambo etc) you had ahard act to follow and you did the club, us and yourself proud wee man. you have left us with many fantastic memories of your time here and 3 in a row, last 16 twice, and a few domestic cups with pretty mediocre players. Well done Gordon, thanks for everything you have done and best of luck wherever you end up.

    were total *, but we won't forget
    some of his amazing european nights,
    he beat the famous man u and ac milian,
    all accomplished by one wee ginger man.

    Alot of hoops supporters are
    going to be happy to see you go,
    but alot of them forget Martin O'Neill
    never won us three titles in a row.

    So Gordon now is your time to exit

    I must admit I wasnt always your biggest fan Gordon. But the fact is no one can argue with the success you brought to us, along with some of my happiest memories as a Hoops supporter. I think it probably is the right time for you to depart, but we will forever remember your achievements, for which we will be forever thankful, and I wish you and your family all the best in the future in and out of the game. Thank you wee man.

    Good luck Gordon...without the financial backing you did well but it was the right time to go. I have always said since last summer that win or lose this season, it would be the right time to move on.
