Yeah was a class gig, but it wasn't as good as Kasbian last night, the best live band in the world by a stretch. Also have the most charismatic frontman since Liam.

EDIT - Also it seems so me that Oasis gigs have become more laid back. I mean the first few times I went to see Oasis, the crowd werte bouncing about for the full gig, sweating like *, but the last twice I'v went to see them, the crowd bounce about for the first 3/4 songs and then thats it, didn't even break sweat on Wednesday. I wonder if Noel deliberately sets the set list out like this to keep things calmer.

Mate I think that had a lot to do with Kasabian as well mate, I was * by Club Foot man, after the first few Oasis songs loads of folk were dead on their feet man. The set list though had a lot to do with it as well man I think you're right, whether it's planned or not who knows.

The Last Shadow Puppets are amazing live also, Miles Kane was truly sensational when I saw them, but agreed that Kaasabian are on fire at the moment - Ironically:icon_mrgreen:

Set list is good, all the usual classics, Slide Away, Wonderwall, Supersonic, Lyla, Rock and Roll Star etc ect

Two surprises for me were Half the World Away and most of all My Big Mouth, never expected that one. Think out of all the times I'v seen Oasis, on this tour was the first time I'v heard a song off Be Here Now.

Finished with I Am the Walrus.:icon_mrgreen:

EDIT - Out of 24 songs they played, 5 songs were from the new album.

Based on the murrayfield gig, Kasabian are , imo, the best live British band.

Well tbh first time I saw them was 97 when Be Here Now was just out, so the crux of their gig was off that album - be here now was the opening track which was * phenomenal, they came out a big phone box etc and it was just a cracking opening to a gig to kick into that tune.

If I remember right, they also played d'you know what i mean, stand by me, fade in/out, all around the world and magic pie (phew what a memory :84:) that night, as well as Stay Young, B side to D'you know what i mean and one of my favourite Oasis tracks.

Seen them 4 times since and its never been the same as that night, but hopefully the wembley atmosphere will make it a bit more special.

Never agreed with I am the walrus as a finishing tune, its dull :54:

    That's a wee bit disappointing tbh ...

Slane was class last night, fist time ive seen oasis live, amazing.

kasabian and prodigy certainlt didnt let down either. Only thing that put a downer on the day was the over an hour walk back to the bus, no lie must of walked 6 KM's or something, it was ages away.

The gig was brilliant, just a pity about the rest !! The queues for beer were an absolute joke, an hour to only be able to get 2 pints. Then after the gig couldnt get a bus even after buying bus tickets, every one was full. Ended up just walking, passed a slane 9km sign and walked for another 45 mins after that. Finally managed to flag down a taxi which we were bumped to the note of 100 euro, didnt care as we could hardly walk any more. Finally got back to the hotel at 3:10, unbelievable !! Oasis were class though.

That is * harsh mate, we had an organised bus collecting us so at least I knew it was somewhere and noone would rob my seat. Thought i walked by it though, just me and one mate at this satge,we were like it cant be this far, * miles away.

Only bought one drink and there was no que when I was there, got away lucky for a change, never really buy gargle at festivals, always a rip off anyway and too big queues.

    * it Oasis made up for it, lethal:50:

Gig was amazing saw Kasabian, The Prodigy and Oasis, all amazing and got the crowd going, just watched some vids on youtube, excellent! [IMG]
Was tired and thirsty come the end, couldn't get a decent drink, brother in law queued for an hour to get 2 pints, so we just left it after that and the bus dropped us off and picked us up miles from the venue. Then we sat on the bus for five and a half hours to get back to Dublin, by which time everything was closed and I was completely knacked. Oasis where the best I had ever seen them play live and Kasabian and The Prodgy were pretty * good as well.

I lost everybody, so i rolled a keg out from the back off the bars. Only got a few metres til a fat steward tried to wrestle me to the ground. I struggled free and ran into the stadium for a wee dance. CLASS NIGHT.

Well, that was * fantastic :84:

Reverend and The Makers were fantastic despite the bird singer being wasted (although undeniably * hot in a purple dress :tongue1:) and 'The Enemy' slightly edged Kasabian for me, who were brilliant as well.:50:

What a show Oasis put on though. :icon_mrgreen:

Highlights without a doubt were Rock n Roll Star, Noel deciding to do a version of 'Whatever' acoustic, even though it wasnt on the set list, as it was the last night of the tour and looking genuinely moved when the crowd barely gave him a chance to sing 'Dont Look Back in Anger'. :55:

Shed a tear at least twice, never saw that comin at all, probably mostly the drink, but some genuinely emotional moments. :50:
