When we stopped the sons of satan beating 9 in a row, that was the most horrible experience of my football life, up until Harold scored the second goal.

That was the season that Celtic fans we being assaulted on a regular basis for wearing the "wrong top in the wrong areas" according to that nuckle dragger findley.
We started that season as no hopers with Wim coming to us and us being laughed at, I had watched them winning title after title and equaling 9 in a row (First is everything, second is nowhere) remember also that we are now more used to the season being decided on the last day but that wasnt the case then, it was the first year that the championship trophy was flying above us in a helicopter waiting to see where the trophy was to go and if we drew the huns would beat the greatest team that the UK has seen and do 10.

When that hun Oboyle missed that sitter I couldnt bear it for much longer, but then upstepped Harold (who will always be a hero for me, for that goal) and slotted in the goal.

I phoned my Mum and Dad but couldnt speak because I was greeting like a wee lassie, all they could hear was the singing and me trying to speak through my tears.

PS What I would give to greet like a wee lassie tommorow after we do 4 in a row.

Henke's last game, I defy any Celtic fan not to have shed a tear at watching that. Or the Bhoy who would be king DVD, wells me up watching that.

When we were cheated out by Porto, was only 13 at the time, was one of the hardest things i've ever had to do, watch 120min of those cheats getting decision after decision. Was about half an hour after the game and broke down.

When we beat Airdrie 1-0 to win the cup after 5 years with no trophies (take not folk that think winning is not the be all and end all!). It was when Peter Grant ran over and picked up Tommy Burns and hugged him. I must admit a small tear dribbled from my eye socket. I was only 10 or something though.

    * sake, how could I forget that one?

16 I was and cried my eyes out at the end.

Im on the telly a few times during and after the game :50:

By the way, it was 6 years without a trophy, to all you younger Celtic fans, try and imagine that, not 6 years just without the league, but a trophy!!?

There was a tear in the eye the night of Seville, that was more out of pride than anything though.
It's an emotional rollercoaster supporting the Hoops and I'd say there'll be a few tears shed tomorow too... Hopefully tears of joy and relief!

    Hail Hail

Cried after the Uefa Cup final.

Close to tears... after the second leg against Bratislava, last week after Hibs draw, last day title defeat at Rugby Park. Theres probably other games but I can't remember just now.

Im close to tears, of joy, every time we win a trophy.

:50:I have supported Celtic for about 35yr and many a tear i have probably shed but the first time would have been the european cup semi final against athletico madrid when they kicked celtic off the park i was 11 and jinky was my hero and the dirty spanish * tried to break his legs with every tackle and jinky just got back up and ran at them again. The last time was tommy burns funeral last year i had been in hospital for 4wks with a spinal injury and signed my self out for the day to pay my respect to the man the doctors werent too happy with me but after they finished theyre ward rounds one of the student doctors came and said not to tell the head doctors and that he was going himself and did i want a lift..:56:
