    Maybe Andreas Thom - after being linked with hunners of players, most memorably Juan Antonio Pizzi, Dimitri Radchenko, Marc Degryse and David Ginola, I was just delighted that we actually signed someone!

    I was overjoyed when we signed Paulo Di Canio aswell. I just new he'd be the * business.

    Sutton and Keano were the two that I couldn't believe we signed. Just wish Kean had stayed playing for a couple more seasons as he would have walked the SPL.

    Of course the signings of Dailly and Broadfoot to them brought a big grin to the face:icon_mrgreen:

    I remember the signing 'coup' of 'It that must not be mentioned' from Nantes. Got really excited about it.

    Needless to say, I got a phone call from my brother telling me of what is infamy regarding 'Le Petit Merde'. I realy thought he was winding me up.:31:
