Bruno Aguiar's agent claims the midfielder is certain to leave Hearts this summer and says he is talking Celtic and Rangers over a possible transfer.

Aguiar is out of contract at the end of next month and it's understood the club are unwilling to renew his deal at £8,000 per week.

The links to the Old Firm come as the 28-year-old eyes a move away from the Edinburgh club after interest from across Europe, according to agent Paul Barbosa.

"The first option for Bruno is to stay in Scotland as he likes it there - but with other clubs."

Barbosa told BBC Scotland: “When Vladimir Romanov comes with an offer, we will be polite, as we have good relations with Hearts, but when we are talking about staying in Scotland it is with other clubs.”

The Portuguese midfielder has been a strong creative force in Csaba Laszlo’s midfield this season, contributing seven goals to help the Jambos secure third place and a place in the Europa League next season.
A month ago Laszlo insisted that after the club were owed some loyalty from Aguiar after his 18 month injury spell, adding that the Europa League would be the ideal place to advertise himself if he did want to leave.

He said: “18 months he (Aguiar) doesn’t play football and now he gets the chance to come back by the club. If you’d like to get a better club, go in the UEFA Cup stage in the group, and after nobody will stop you. Nobody can stop you leaving because you have so many offers.”
Aguiar joined Vladimir Romanov’s FBK Kaunas in January 2006 and was immediately loaned to the Edinburgh club. He remains a Kaunas player.
